  1. I have a cruise booked with a stop in Nassau in Feb 2026. You’d have to think this is low season. A day pass to the beach club with alcohol unlimited is $250 and without alcohol is $200. Cabanas range from around $2200 to $5000 per day, which if you factor in the day pass cost actually seems like a deal. Is it just me or are these prices even higher than expected? Maybe I should stop being surprised
  2. 10:30 is the earliest check in, approx 11 earliest boarding. This was star class. Not sure if these times were offered more broadly.
  3. I find the best way to debark as a suite guest is to have breakfast in coastal kitchen and then let the suite concierge escort you down (they will do this regularly taking groups down on debarkation day)
  4. We just got off Harmony and I don’t think so. The specialty restaurants sometimes have some coffee based drinks on their dessert menu but other than that I think I don’t think I saw anything like this
  5. Don’t worry! The genie does not “third wheel” your holiday. Most of the time you will see your genie 1-3 times per day. At a minimum they stop by when you’re having dinner at the start of the meal to check in. You will also see them if they help you disembark from the ship (they use their priority key for the elevator for you), or go to an activity they have organized (flow rider session, bridge or galley tour, etc ) or when they have selected seats for you at a show. Otherwise you just what’s ap them a lot to ask for things (room service, schedule changes). They are deliberately non intrusive. when we first did Star class we also thought that we would not use the genie much… I found we used them more than we thought as its very convenient to have someone who can customize your every whim. we still cruise the majority of the time in sky class, as the pricing is somewhat more reasonable (not trying to say current pricing in either category is where I want it to be) and we overeat less in sky class. if you are torn, I would choose sky class, and see after you do it what your impression is. If you aren’t sure you would love the Genie, don’t pay double for Star class. in answer to your other questions, in sky class you still get your arrival window, but can come an hour earlier. In star you can tell them when you want to get there from around 10:30 onwards. sky gets beer and wine after 11am in the suite lounge, cocktails etc during the evening cocktail hours. for disembarkation at the end of the cruise you can go to the suite lounge and the concierges will escort groups down. The genie goes a little further and walks you to your luggage bypassing more lines etc.
  6. Yes. You are all right! They have to cancel and rebook. It was a process but we did get it in the future @smokeybandit I think you are right. If there’s nothing I want to book while on board I’ll just skip it. Having to call to use the vouchers is a bit of a chore if you are particular about the cabin.
  7. You can take out the OBC as cash in the casino and use it for gratuities as well
  8. I have a booking to make from Next Cruise. Yesterday I put in a courtesy hold on a room (it’s a particularly hard cabin to get, and I wanted a chance to think about it). If I call RC can they convert the courtesy hold into the next cruise booking? Anyone tried this or have advice? Thanks
  9. Totally agree. We were disappointed today to see that Oasis class is being used for short cruises only from all Florida ports in early 2027.
  10. In star class you can get in right away. Sky class is the same time as other rooms in my experience.
  11. This is very individual. If you are seafood lovers this is great. It’s my husbands favorite because he loves seafood but those that don’t love seafood as much may prefer elsewhere.
  12. You need a boarding time, but can generally come up to an hour before the time you get.
