Mike.s got a reaction from Baked Alaska in The Royal Promise
Taken from the Royal promise "All guests and crew will be required to wear a mask onboard. Specifically, guests should wear face masks in nearly all public settings regardless of physical distancing measures" So you need to wear them when on deck or round the pool, not sure I'm keen on that.

I got it too and suggested they hire Matt Hochberg to completely redesign and implement a new website.

Mike.s got a reaction from WAAAYTOOO in MSC Grandiosa is at Sea
It's part of the cruise cost on the current MSC sailings, surely the cruise lines will look at it as a small price to pay if it restarts cruises, and we as the passengers will ultimately end up paying for it, it will just be hidden as part of out cruise fare.

Mike.s got a reaction from cruisellama in MSC Grandiosa is at Sea
It's the way forward, test all the passengers before they board the ship, Costa are doing the same when they recommence sailing

Mike.s got a reaction from Allen2 in Next round of cancellations, when?
So it's very obvious from yesterdays briefing by Michael Bayley that we're not going to start sailing in the next month, and certainly not from a European port, so please just get on and announce the next phase of cancellations. I appreciate they are trying to manage their cash flow (or hold onto our money depending on your viewpoint) but they are just increasing the frustration with their loyal customers. Long term no one will thank them for building up our hopes only to then cancel at the last minute.

Mike.s got a reaction from AshleyDillo in Booked my first non-Royal Caribbean Cruise
We enjoyed sailing from Tampa on Rhapsody earlier this year, loved it, can't wait to get back on the smaller RC ships again soon

Mike.s reacted to bretts173 in MSC Grandiosa is at Sea
Reports are that people have been not allowed to reboard due to wandering off on their shore excursion. Good job MSC.

Mike.s got a reaction from WAAAYTOOO in What would the theoretical first signs of sailings restarting in the US be?
Certainly if things go well in Europe it will help the Global restart, by the end of September/early October there should be 4 cruise lines sailing, TUI will have 3 ships, Costa are starting up sailing with Italian residents only, as mentioned AIDA are due in September and Marella (also confusingly owned by TUI) are looking at the beginning of October.
I've seen no negative press from the first couple of TUI cruises, funny that, had there of been a problem the press would of been all over it

Mike.s got a reaction from cruisellama in Tui Mean Shif 2 (partially owned by RCL)
This link gives an overview of the cruise, the lady presenting it (in English) knows the guy featured in the video.
Looks positive, perhaps finally progress in the right direction.

Mike.s reacted to WAAAYTOOO in Shareholder On Board Credit
When they refer to “Travel Agent Rates” they are referring to special rates given to TA’s themselves, not regular passenger rates negotiated by an Agency.

Mike.s got a reaction from Drewww in Quantum Class Advice?
We didn't like the fact that the MDR is actually 4 smaller dining rooms, kind of spoiled the experience for us, other than that Anthem was fab, loved 270, really unique.
