This is exciting but none of these seem to be showing up on Royals website. Hopefully soon.

He’s getting an earful on Facebook lol
“We were hoping and praying that our 7 day July 25th 2019 Family cruise on the Allure would go in 2021 (after being cancelled twice).  We were going to celebrate a 90th birthday, a retirement and a High School graduation.  Michael Bayley - you owe it to all your guests to CANCEL the July cruises ASAP so we can make other plans.”
“Since I was supposed to be sailing on the Allure July 25, I would have appreciated a notice of cancellation before seeing this. Very disappointed in Royal Caribbean’s communication right now.”
“Michael Bayley  wonderful news. A trip we bought in January 2020 was canceled for summer of 2020.  We are on July 11th cruise that will be canceled when you get around to it. And you will be keeping our money for another year being school starts up in early August AND you won't refund our FCC.   Again WONDERFUL NEWS. That makes it
2 1/2 years you'll be holding our money.   Please just give us a refund already so we can go on other vacations with it.”
    There’s a few hundred more...

    Regarding the tone deaf comments....
I don't think anything Bayley did is a problem. In fact, I think it's a public service because we'd know nothing about test cruises without it.
    However....
The fact Royal is the only line that hasn't cancelled July cruises yet is a problem, and whomever is holding the line for some miracle or who knows what is the "problem".
They should have cancelled July a long time ago.  With reduced capacity almost certain, cancelling and then bringing back sailings for rebook later would be the simplest approach.
At the end of the day, I get the cruise line wants to hold onto sailings if there's a chance they may sail so they can actually make some money.  But given what other lines have done (cancelling July), it should have been done at least 2 weeks ago.

I think as ships return to service, they will have to ensure each ship has app support since they need to do the eMuster. But I guess we'll have to wait and see.

The t-shirt sales are pretty good and we almost always take advantage, but another reason is I haven't been able to wear this t-shirt for over a year.
I only wear it on a cruise because it wouldn't make any sense to anyone walking around on land. It gets a pretty good reaction! ?

Plus, flights to Nassau, especially from Florida are a lot less expensive and easy to come by (more airlines) than flights to Bermuda .... it only makes sense to keep the Adventure sailings

Ask the Americans that are now banned from airlines if their civil disobedience was worth it.  An airplane at 30,000' is not the place to push an agenda that involves violating the law especially while it is a hot issue.
The same be said for cruises when they initially start up.  When you board you agree to abide by the policies.  Once they are 15 miles away from shore will not be the place to be civilly disobedient and ignore mask policies.  This is exactly the behaviour that causes the CDC to pause and slow down.
Protest peacefully outside your kid's school or favorite store if you want their policy changed.  Don't board an airplane or a ship after agreeing to their policy and then force the issue in the middle of the trip.
I hate masks.  So glad my local grocery stores allow me to shop now without them.
Having said that I am waiting to see what the cruise ship policies will be.  If I don't like them I won't sail.   I sincerely hope anyone who tries to sabotage a cruise restart by being civilly disobedient on board is promptly confined to their cabin and dropped at the first port of call to find their own way home then banned for life.

i am fine with that as long as I can remove mask during dining completely.

OK, time to totally rewrite those CSO requirements.

I'm not disputing that, as I said, I find masks on a fully vaccinated cruise fairly absurd anyways.  My point is there's been no definition of "extended meal service" given so jumping to it meaning masking between bites or courses in the MDR is pointless.  I'd rather focus on the actual issues with it, not one that people made up based on their interpretation.  *shrugs* you do you though, long as I can get on the ship and they still stock gin for me to drink I'll tolerate the absurdity for awhile.

and how is that even enforceable? is there going to be an attendant standing at each table to be the mask police while people eat? There is ZERO science to support this kind of nonsense and it does not match what is happening at indoor dining now in the US.

I believe someone else referred to the NY Times article today, yet you have to wear a mask on a Private Island?  The absurdity of all of this is beginning to wane on all of us.
There is not a single documented Covid infection anywhere in the world from casual outdoor interactions, such as walking past someone on a street or eating at a nearby table.
