Your best bet is going to be using a non-cellular text messaging programs. iMessage works fine over voom, as do apps like WhatsApp, etc..
 

I have Verizon and they have wifi calling and texting but I think i had to activate it on my phone.  There is no additional charge. You can only use one device at a time for each device you pay for. You can switch devices but again, you can only use one at a time.

Just make sure you check the prices every now and then.  They will drop or have some specials and you may be able to get a better price, even if it saves you $5  ?

Oh no no no ??

After tons of research, I finally booked our cruise!! We will be going May 2020 on Symphony!! It's only our second cruise and first to the Caribbean...and first on Royal Caribbean.  We are beyond excited....My brother in law, sister in law, and niece are going...Also, my mother in law is going and she got a junior suite and is paying for our daughter and my niece!  I just had to share!  ?

Oh how I wish! lol  My oldest daughter is getting married next April, so a central park balcony it is for the hubby and me...We will have to live that "suite" life through my youngest daughter with her grandmother! ?

I will get the cabin I want.

I use Shipmate for my cruise countdown (because the photos on it are prettier to post when I'm bragging to my FB friends), but I used Countdown for my retirement countdown (it's 1,887 days, in case anyone is counting with me. I know that seems like a lot, but it was over 2300 when I started, so yay me.)

I sometimes like having this app called 'Countdown' I think. You put in a date(s) and it tells you how many days till a birthday, Christmas, your cruise etc. Its fun when something gets below 100 days, then its in the 60s, then the 40's and so on ….

I will also be like that gif on May 22nd when TESTING IS OVER!!! lol

Price is the same as on land but you get on board credit and sometimes reduced deposits.

I re-price for every price drop.  From less than $50 to hundreds of dollars.  Every bit counts.  No penalty as long as your outside of final payment and you have booked within North America.

I have had my travel agent (bless her heart) rebook my reservation 4 times.  Each time for a lower price.  We don't sail until March 2000, so prices are fluctuating widely.  I check them myself and email her if it's lower, though i know that she also checks them.  

What is it with all us teachers and cruising? ?

I teach primary school BTW 4-11 year olds. Not all at once. Currently teaching Year 1 (5&6 year olds) but next year will be Year 4 (8&9 year olds).
