We also purchased our for CLS for next May on the Harmony.  About 4 years ago we were comp-upgraded from a Jr Suite to a Grand and that started it all, just like has been said many times, you simply cannot go back!  Enjoy your cruise.

It’s a tough scene for sure. We finally did a suite in the form of a junior suite on navigator with our children. The space was incredible. Got a grand suite on wonder in December and a crown loft on harmony next March. I think the suite life has its hooks in us now too. My poor bank account will never be the same. At minimum when we sail with our children it will always be suites moving forward. 

I'm with you on this one!

That is a whole different class that I will never be a part of...just the Jr suite for me on a splurge.

Well, I get it now. We finally were able to stay in a Crown Loft Suite and no idea how were going to go back now. It truly is something else. Every day we learn more and more benefits of our CLS-- looks like we'll have to do it again 😉

We are on Allure this week and it is the first time that we have truly noticed the ducks -- this is our 16th cruise, I believe. It has been so fun to find and hide them! I only wish I had known about this all along!

I'm an Android user and a windows based laptop.  I've never noticed any difference between devices.  Both were fine on the Ovation in Alaska.

If the restaurant is open for lunch, you can use your UDP at the specialty restaurants.  Going deeper into your question, Chops is fine and will usually be open on sea days, if your first day is a sea day you should be fine.   If you mean first day as in embarkation day, typically Chops is reserved for the Key guests for lunch.

That’s incorrect ……… Both times we’ve had the Key, the “Chops Lunch” was a limited Chops lunch menu served in the Main Dining Room 
This coming Sunday, we’re going on Harmony, do NOT have the Key, and have a 12 Noon reservation for lunch at Chops 
Yes, our boarding time says 1pm, but they told us we can board as soon as boarding starts since we paid for the lunch at Chops.

I think that one thing that, at least, I have learned about Royal (probably others as well) is that next to nothing is standardized between ships, embarkation locations, sailings, sailing dates, crew availability, and destinations.
