I often wonder how we adults ever survived adolescence.  My kids didn't even have cell phones till they where 15.  It really amazes me every time we cruise how many phones are at the table and nobody is talking with one another.

Talk to him!  Put the phones away and communicate with each other!  Set up a schedule so you both know what is going on and check in occasionally.  Can go to far on a ship.

The Fence Repair - Australian style !!!

Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence
    at Government House.

One is from Cabramatta, another is from
Marrickville, and the third is from Lane Cove.

All three go with an official to examine the fence.
The Cabramatta contractor takes out a tape measure
and does some measuring, then works some figures
    with a pencil.

"Well," he says, "I figure the job will run about $900,
$400 for materials, $400 for my crew and $100 profit
    for me."

The Marrickville contractor also does some measuring
and figuring, then says, "I can do this job for $700.
That's $300 for materials, $300 for my crew and $100
    profit for me."

The Lane Cove contractor doesn't measure or figure,
but leans over to the government official and whispers,
    "$2,700."

The official, incredulous, says, "You didn't even measure
like the other guys. How did you come up with such a
    high figure?"

The Lane Cove contractor whispers back, "$1000 for me,
$1000 for you, and we hire the guy from Marrickville to
    fix the fence."

    "Done!" Replies the government official.

Plenty of included beverages(non carbonated, non alcoholic). Multiple choices of included food.  You will do just fine if all you did was pay for the cruise and no added extras.  Shore excursions are nice but not necessary!

It's not clear that a crew member was asked specifically about their medical history or intentions going forward.  It could simply be where the conversation went and what the crew member chose to share.
Often when I talk with crew the conversation is interactive and a crew member chooses to share information and opinions, or not.  The conversation can go places and venture into topics that all parties happily participate in.  It is not an interrogation or approaching a crew member for the purpose of inquiring about their medical status.  It could be as simple about talking about a contract coming to an end then the crew member offers a reason why they might not rejoin for another contract and their personal opinions.  There is no harm in that.
