CruisingOz got a reaction from Neesa in FCC Win
    Hello Guys,
We had, like all of you, a cruise cancelled; 10 night Japan on the Quantum 15th April, and we were planning to travel with our adult children. My son and daughter will not be able to cruise again due to University and work commitments until sometime in 2023. This would have been our last get together for a while. so a bit sad. I thought I would reach out to C&A and cheekiy ask if they could issue my wife and I an FCC with 125% and refund or move the FCC for our adults kids to us. There was no lift & shift option, which was a bit upsetting as we had an incredible price on a Grand Loft Suite. Don't ask what was worse, missing on catching up with the kids or losing out on the deal of the cab turn for the GLS
Anyway, sent the email explaining the reasons and alike and to our great surprise, Royal had kindly put the kids credit into our names, all with the 125%. It was a nice added bonus, totally unexpected and it was great Royal was more flexible considering the circumstances.
I guess it shows if doesn't hurt to ask, and this great customer service is why we are loyal to Royal. It is also good to see that in these exordinary times, Royal is open to working outside the normal.
BTW, don't ask what was worse, missing out on catching up with the kids or losing out on the deal of the century for the GLS. LOL

Here in NC we have Hardee's
You order then sit down and they bring your food/drinks to you.
We very rarely there.  If we do they have really good chicken tenders and I LOVE their Jalapeno poppers.
Our ads show these amazing burgers but if you were to order one you'd be sadly disappointed.

The ad's are funny, thanks for the link. We don't eat a lot of fast food, but when we do, this is what life is all about. Must make sure I where a dark coloured t-shirt to hide all the stains and bring extra wipes, LOL. Perfect food after a few beers, can't wait until it opens.

Hardees does have the BEST biscuits.  Loaded with that one-molecule-away-from-being-plastic butter !  OMG, so good.

Burgers are either very juicy or very greasy depending on one's perspective. As @twangsternoted, Carl's Jr. is a Western US version of the more familiar to me Hardee's. Hardee's breakfast is, to me, a significant improvement vs. what is available at chains like McDonald's and Burger King.

“If it doesn’t get all over the place, it doesn’t belong in your face”
From a commercial Carl’s Jr. used to air, very telling.

I'm not a big fast food consumer and this particular chain can't be found in every state of America.  If you drop a backslash on a map of the US you'll find Carl Jr on the left and a related company Hardees on the right of the backslash.
Here in the US the Carl Jr TV ads basically target a demographic that is tired of all the do-gooders telling them to eat healthy.  While they don't actually say the following it's implied... "Our food isn't healthy, we will kill you, but boy will you die happy".   At least that is my take on their TV ads.  Their ads have traditionally been, umm, sexy.
Watch some of their TV ads and you decide.

The Voyager is a great ship. Perfect size, lots to do and since it has been amplified, one of the features is the water slides are great fun. We have sailed on her a few times and we were really upset when we discovered it will no longer service the Australian market. The bigger ships may offer some more activities like iFly but the Voyager class was a perfect mix of activities and relaxation areas, and we hope to get back on board sometime in the future.
    Great choice of ship.

Love the Bionic Bar. We would make it our last stop late at night for a nightcap. It is generally really quiet then and so no waiting. My knock out drink oi sleep well, four shots of Hennessy  with a dash of ginger ale. It's great as I can hit the number of shots button without the bride knowing and no judgement from a bar tender.
My question is how to get one of these at home for the ultimate man cave addition.

Thanks for this tip. I have done the whole, one day at a time booking some many times and was so frustrated, even did it fir four reservations for a family group 12 nights, so you can only imagine how long that took me. Well no more, this is the best tip ever, thank you

G'day community. Totally off cruising topic, but we are getting Carl Jr restaurant and it is coming to a suburb close to where we live. We would love to know what is the hype about this brand is and are they really any good? Now I know that is a really subjective question, so if you are a fan, what is the must order item to try? Being American, Australians will flock to it, especially now that we haven't been able to travel overseas, so anything foreign and new is a novelty.
I know Matt H. will back us up on this, they better have beetroot on their burgers. LOL

A trick when booking MTD for the first time is to use the "Plan All Cruise Dining" button.
Using this presents a page where you can make all reservations at once for each night and "purchase" them only once.  You do have to scroll past all the other dining options to find "My Time".

CruisingOz got a reaction from Neesa in Weird RCCL FCC Math?
Yes it happens. We had two cancellations where one FCC was way short and one which was more. Of course we only contewctred Royal about the lesser amount. It got resolved and then a couple weeks ago they emailed us about the over paid FCC and reissued at the correct amount. It wasn't really ever a concern as the maths was easy to work out, just had to give them a nudge to look into it.

I've seen them go up against each other during trivia that Matt hosts occasionally on his Periscope (or whatever it's called these days) live chats.  It's dog-eat-dog competition!
