I remember when my never-gets-sick husband came home with pneumonia from an NCL cruise. That was in 2011. 
You board a ship with people from all over the world and spend time in close quarters with these people....illness happens! 
The times I've gotten Covid incidentally have been from work, not cruising 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yep. We have found this to be the case, if needed. We had packed one years ago and our stateroom attendant told us we didn't have to do that, they have plenty to give out.

Us too. I had purchased water on previous cruises and got the 16.9 oz. bottles. Last cruise, this month, we got a case of the Litre Evian. I gave several to my daughter in the adjoining stateroom and still left 3 bottles behind.

What a coincidence. I'm married to a granny.

We are in eastern PA, about an hour and a half from Bayonne via I-78 near Allentown. We are almost at the point where a limo to the port is the same price as parking there  for a one week cruise.

You will be told where to meet on the ship and RC will do a head count and give you a small round sticker with a number for you to wear.  They had laid out some water, juice and I think some pastries.  They will also hand you your new sea pass cards for the upcoming cruise.  When all other guests have left the ship you walk off as a group and scan your sea pass card.  You walk off the ship to the exit and they use facial recognition for your customs check.  You stay in the group and they have you sit and wait to reboard, I think we waited maybe 30 minutes.  We were walked back onto the ship and we had preselected a quiet place to sit and watch on an enclosed higher deck.  It was all employees only and before we knew it the new passengers started boarding.
I would suggest to take your own water bottle and snacks because nothing is open until the new passengers board.

This is for non-suite cabins:   I am a guy's guy with old man hair, and I take my own shampoo and conditioner on all RCL Ships.  With a week of their combo products my hair is all over the place.

Been following this blog for awhile but first time posting. Love this blog. Feel like I’m taking an advanced course in Cruising - too much good info for Cruising 101.
Just returned from Mariner Aug. 12. Previous 2 were on Wonder so wasn’t sure about “down sizing “ ship. Must say we had a great cruise! Nothing negative to say. We even enjoyed the MDR. Maybe we just aren’t picky eaters. Food was hot, served in a timely fashion, great waiter and assistant. Room steward was also good. Met him on first day as soon as cabins were ready. Did a great job - cleaning and meeting our requests.

Why do people drop in just to complain and tell us how they will not cruise RCL.  I would not mind if they were here for help or sharing wisdom but the popcorn, really?  When I was on the ship, I went over to get some popcorn and seen there was a charge and made a decision that I did not want popcorn enough to pay for it.  As far as the bill,  
You can see your bill on the TV in your cabin. You can see your bill on the RCL app. You can stop by customer service anytime and get a copy of your bill. I watch my bill every day and make sure I am not charged for something I should not.  if there is an issue, I call the ships customer service and they fix it.

Many of the cruise experts at CC and other sites have never been in any water deeper than their bathtubs. And that made them seasick.
