So I'm going on my first cruise ever aboard Radiance of the Seas on Jan 6th with my 16 year old niece (itll also be her sweet 16 cruise). I was a bit too excited and booked it, paid for it and everything, however, I forgot the most important things.. Refreshment/Drink Packages and excursions. I thought I would've had the money to buy these around this time of the year but some bills came first and I haven't been able to do so, so I'm not sure if it's gonna be as fun for my niece and I feel like an ultimate failure. Just felt like I had to say it some where.

So I'm just extremely excited to go on my FIRST ever cruise. We're going to Cozumel and Costa Maya on Radiance of the Seas. I continuously find myself watching videos on cruises and constantly checking this message board. Anyone have any tips?!

If I purchase the key for two people, will both have internet access or is it 1 device per cabin?

So my TA called RC and they said it will have to be a connecting room for them to come with. I will have to pay an extra $300 to move my room to a connecting one, plus whatever insurance rate increase is and they will have to pay $1700. In total, I will pay $1800 and they will pay $1700. (The 2 are adults, I don't need to be their parent nor sign any guardian papers BUT I have a RC Guardian paper signed to take my 16year old niece).

It would work if I had another person over 21. It’s me, 27, them, 20 and 19, and a 16 year old. Hopefully my TA will be able to do it.

I have my cruise already booked for Jan 6th on Radiance OTS. My niece and her boyfriend are wanting to cruise with us, however they are 19 and 20 years old. Will RC allow them to book a totally different cabin if I’m on the cruise as well and will take responsibility for them (just not pay their cruise fare lol)?

I know I’m very lucky! I would assume 3D is a good category then? I’m sorry if the question is obvious, I’m new to the cruise world!

I set sail on my first cruise on January 6th 2024, little over 5 months to go (174 days). I did GTY Ocean View Balcony on Radiance of the Seas and I checked the royal app to see if we had an assignment and we did! 8154! Should I expect it to change between now and then? Also, I’ve tried searching this room up to see how it looks and to find the category but my brain is hurting as I’ve gotten so many different answers on the category part, any help?

Who all is ready for this one?! It’s my first cruise ever so I’m very nervous but the blogs have been helping a lot. I wish I would’ve studied the ships more before I booked it however lol. Also bringing my 16 year old niece for her sweet 16! Her birthday is the day before we set sail. Would it be worth it to have RC decorate the room at all?
