I have always wanted to do this...honestly not sure why I haven't. My wife always makes fun of me, but as someone who grew up on TNG, DS9 and Voyager, it truly is a bucket list item for me. Not sure I'm the "Dress up as Dr. Reyga" kind of guy, but would still love to go. But year...every year I just forget about it until it's too late.

Was considering it til I saw that price tag O.O $2300 for an interior...on Mariner?!

Unless Jean Luc Picard is tucking me in every night that seems excessively not worth it...

If Jean Luc Picard is available for tuck-ins I'll book a suite!

I've done this one a few times - including the first one which was on Norwegian.  It's a TRULY UNIQUE experience from the perspective of a Loyal to Royal person.  The usual Royal Cruise Director staff are non-existent and replaced by ECP (Entertainment Cruise Production) staff.

Don't expect any of your Royal Perks - as they don't work.  No early boarding, no Diamond Lounge or Diamond Drinks etc.  However, on the last few cruises, they did open the buffet for a 4th meal at midnight which was really cool.
