I sailed Radiance in April, the food was very good, way better than the larger ships.  I’m currently on Liberty and can say the same.   I’ve griped about chicken parm and chicken Marsala on the larger ships. Both were perfect this week on Liberty, so good that if I were inclined I’d have asked for seconds!

Well, travel agent said she asked, but nothing was offered. So we had to cancel, and will attempt to get funds back from insurance. The rates for the Wonder of the Seas for the dates we could go are 60% higher (so +$6,000 for same itinerary), with inferior room locations compared to our booking (which we made in September 2022). So we're gonna try for next summer.

Never sailed on Disney and never will. Would likely go over the rail due to Post Traumatic Rat Syndrome.
But, does anyone remember olden days (first year of operation) of Disney World, when you paid $7.95 admission to the Magic Kingdom, purchased individual ride tickets that evolved into the "E" ticket that got you on any ride?
Now, park admission is on the order of a couple of body organs..............
I really struggle to understand how out of state/out of country visitors can continue to afford to visit Disney, or any of the other "Worlds" in Orlando. 🤑🤑

I heard Disney cruises costs more because they have to pay off food safety inspectors to overlook the abundance of mice on board.

This situation needs to be fixed and with the recent price increases RCCL should be able to do so.  If not, people will jump the fence.  We just booked the Carnival Mardi Gras for October.

We use Jen Greene at MEI, she is amazing plus they watch for price drops. Highly recommend.

Just got my Royal Up bid accepted for my upcoming cruise to Norway on Anthem.
We're not talking suites here, but I'm pretty happy to be going from an ocean view guarantee which had us assigned (thank you "bar code trick") in the farthest forward OV cabin on deck 3 to a large balcony cabin on deck 7 for a minimum bid of $50 pp. 😁
This is the first time in 3 or 4 attempts that I've actually won one of these things.

Mrs Bow Tie spent a couple hours yesterday pricing Princess and was much happier with their model. Her parents, decades-long LTR cruisers, have started doing the same. Can’t say for certain we’ll be booking with them next because Royal has the kid activities we want, but I believe RCCL is going to see a large number of cruisers start to calculate how much those diamond drinks are really costing them. As with Disney parks, the question for corporate will just be whether the higher prices and new passengers make up for the lost passengers. 

Perhaps see if there is a Facebook group for a current sailing in Europe snd make an inquiry there regarding clothing that’s acceptable.
when I took my boys cruising I went to a second hand store for blue blazers and dress shirts.  They already had khaki pants.  I also found shoes there.  Yes, they grow quickly!  We wound up donating those clothes back within a few months.  If you belong to a Facebook group like “buy nothing” you can ask for clothes.
 

Was fine every night but Mexican night.  Cannot tolerate spice so I went with the chicken instead.  Rubber banquet chicken!  Sent it back.  Tried a bite of DD’s spaghetti bolognese.  Canned Franco American tastes better.  Hubby’s enchilada was a lot of wrap with very little filling and nowhere near enough sauce.  The salmon smelled & tasted fishy.  Just an all around terrible night.  
Highlights were the crab cakes, tomato soup, butternut squash soup, beef bourguignon, sautéed filet of sole, shrimp dishes, daughter had several Indian dishes she loved & my brother loved the lamb shank.  Really except for that one night, we had great food on Harmony a few weeks ago.  Also, MTD with the same table/waitstaff each night and no wait!

Just got to Port Canaveral..
Qantas lost our bags in San Francisco.. looks like I’m going to be the proud owner of a lot of Royal Caribbean merchandise!!!
 
 

What about all the cute little containers of various colors? I find these very charming. I also find the the noise when set on a chassis to be very soothing.
