Fear not, don’t let your heart be troubled.  Cruise ship contraction are infinitesimal small (<1%) compared to anything on land.  Don’t be afraid, go enjoy life and live without fear.  Have fun, you are safer than your local grocery store.

I would say wait until final payment is due, if you can, and then decide. Since protocols have been announced through March you can cancel for a refund.
Now on a personal note......my belief is that this is our new normal. Things won't go back to the way they were in 2019. They will adjust to be better eventually but for now this is our normal. Therefore, I will continue to cruise. IMHO the land vacations I have taken have required just as much patience. March is more than 8wks away and plenty can change in either direction.

SpeedNoodles got a reaction from Linda R in Longer wait times for proctored at home test today
I think this would not be something they would do.  Each person must have their own account and the proctor carefully watches each person, after scanning QR codes, etc - then they "put you on hold" during the waiting time and when it's over another proctor will come back and interpret your results.  Having more than one person on the same call would make this very confusing.
That being said, people can log on at the same time on different devices and do them with individual proctors on their own accounts and get them all done at the same time.

    Switch Health Test Results
Received negative test result back at 5:15 am this morning. 🙌🙌 Not a bad turn around time (28 hours) since the sample was done at 1am in the morning on the 28th.  Lindsay’s return to work PCR test also came back negative. 🙌🙌

Thank you for confirming this.  I thought it was me and I just couldnt find the switch. The announcements come into the room speakers and on the television on DCL. Not enough to make me want to go back to them.

Back when we first started cruising there were speakers inside the staterooms (and a modulation dial for volume).  Now when there's an announcement someone has to stick their heads out into the hallway.  What's up with that?

    I'm 100% in this camp.
Due to how much crew quarantine we've been seeing, I bet the "one session per cruise" limitation was a hedge against AO staff possibly needing to quarantine mid-cruise. The staff would much rather set the expectation of one session per cruise, then "surprise and delight" by opening more sessions, then having to call guests and cancel sessions because AO staff popped a positive test and shut down AO.

I ordered a six pack of home proctored tests from eMed on Sunday. They arrived two days later on Tuesday. I was very surprised that they came so quickly. I cruise often and use CVS as my go-to test site. Like you, I always book early…so far I haven’t had an issue. But my back-up is the home test. Hopefully this helps others preparing for a future cruise needing Antigen tests.
