One of the couples on the Newlywed Game, about 20 years ago, had us all in stitches.
"Where is the most interesting place you've had sex?"
"The glass elevator of this ship."
People made sure they never shared an elevator with them the rest of the cruise 🤣

In 2017, we were on Freedom.  We were lined up in the first night MDR "cattle call" (waiting to get into the MDR).  I hate being in this line ... I have no idea what we were doing.  Sardines have more room in their can.
A tall gentleman two or three couples in front of us turned around to look at the length of the line and the "crush" of it.  In a loud and booming voice he said:
"These poor people ... they have not eaten in 20 minutes".
That was funny enough for my soulmate and I (I certainly laughed out loud).  Funnier still, 80% of the people did not get the joke.
We have not stood in that line since.

I love the Oasis class.  And am partial to Oasis ship.   I also like Anthem quite a bit.  Been on both those ships many times

My favorite ship is whatever ship I am on at the time. If not on a cruise, my favorite is the next one scheduled.
    My wife's favorite is Freedom.

It looks like the popular sentiment is Cats is at the bottom of the favorite list.
I just didn't get Cats, what was the purpose?  The only thing I could think of, it was about what cats think and I couldn't care less about what cats think.  I think I slept through about 70% of it, twice.  Yep, twice.  For me, it was kinda like the movie "Michael".  I couldn't believe it was so bad, I had to do it again just to be sure it was as bad as I thought it was.

The athleticism was impressive. I agree with your analysis. Can’t wait to see the Effectors in the future, though.

I found there were some neat visuals in Spectra's Cabaret...but my main thought was "very weird".

We had gotten the glitch drink package for $17/pp, but it was for our May 2020 cruise that got cancelled.  I was so sad. I highly doubt that mistake will ever be made again.

I just spotted this just now and I know it wasn't there last time I looked (yesterday).

When you click on it, it takes you into a day by day list of the excursions on your cruise and you can book them right there in the app ahead of the cruise, rather than having to go into the cruise planner.

And BTW, although I don’t expect OP to return, we are booked on Explorer in October.   If, as you state, you are both disabled, the amp wouldn’t do you much good anyway as it usually means adding water slides and other physical activities which you might not be able to use AND the cruise fare will increase as a result too.

This is a fan site, and not affiliated with Royal Caribbean. Nobody there will read your complaint.
I doubt when they advertised the amplification of Explorer of the Seas (and Allure), they had no idea that the pandemic would hit and cause them to shut down for over a year and lose billions of dollars, making the amplification fiscally impossible.  I would never consider that "false advertising".
Personally, I'd go anyway.  You haven't "lost the money".  You are choosing to do so by not going on the cruise.  You could still have a great time if you chose to do so.
    Good luck.
(I can't speak for anyone else, but personally, I sleep quite well at night).

I don't have any problem with a patriotic shirt, such as an American flag shirt or what have you.
The problem are the political statement shirts with slogans for their political leaning.  There's no need for that, IMO.

This is true in almost any crowded activity, not just cruise ships:  People that exit, for example the theatre, and just stop there, at the exit, the whole party just to talk right in the middle of the exit/hallway, or other activity/venues.  This bothers me more than those that try to get on a packed elevator before letting ANYONE off.  Stupid, just stupid.

    Cringeworthy:
I tried a speedo once and got advice as to not embarrass myself or wife.  Friends told me to strategically place a Potato in my speedo before I go out on deck.  I was getting looks from everyone and thought I was magnificent until my wife told me I should have put the Potato in the front.

Yeah hubby said we can continue in suites but take less cruises. Nope! I did manage to convince him to upgrade to a JS for our 12 night Holy Land on Odyssey. By changing from Alaska to Harmony, that put us 12 points behind on reaching Diamond Plus so we took the left over Alaska $ from our refund and upgraded to JS to get quadruple points and push us over the finish line. Hopefully we can get in to CK a few nights!

Doesn't apply to Oasis, but fwiw, had excellent service in CK and from the bartenders in both the suite deck and suite lounge on Harmony.
Possibly not an accident that they put experienced and/or highly regarded bartenders/servers in those locations.

Congrats!  We were lucky to get a 2 br Grand Suite on Oasis with a minimum bid as well.  I agree with everything @OCSC Mike says.  We found the suite deck on the last sea day and wish we had found it earlier in the cruise.  It was quiet and there were a ton of empty spots.  CK for breakfast every morning was fantastic; we ate there every morning.  The bartenders were fabulous as well in the CK.  Dudesh will make you anything you want; if they don't have it in their bar, he will get it for you.

Congrats! I just finished my 1st stay in a suite last week on Harmony so I know how you feel. Here are some quick thoughts off the top of my head...
First, the suite concierges should e-mail you 5-6 days before your cruise. They can do just about anything before you even cruise. Amongst other things, they made us reservations for CK (only required for dinner) and the comedy show. They will also answer as many questions as you have.
If you eat in CK, nothing needs to be done with your MDR time with traditional seating. If you have MTD, don't make reservations for those nights (or cancel them). We loved CK but preferred the MDR menu a few nights. I'd suggest checking the menus as your cruise gets closer. We had many breakfasts in CK also.
Make use of the suite lounge for the coffee machine (same as the DL if you're Diamond) for free cappuccinos, lattes, espressos, etc., free beer, wine, seltzer, soda, bottled water from 11-11 everyday, and open bar during a 3-hour happy hour every night (there are also hors d'oeuvres served during happy hour, same as the DL).
Check out the suite sun deck. Too lazy to check the exact layout of Oasis (it may differ slightly) but on Harmony you take a set of steps up from the pool deck that can only be accessed with a suite sea pass. We spent several mornings up there in free cabanas (first come, first serve). There is also a suite deck bar up there.
You don't need reservations to any shows except the adult comedy show. You will automatically be allowed in and there are special suite sections (although you are free to sit elsewhere of course). Just arrive at least 15 minutes early or they may start giving away the suite section seats.
Lastly, you can have the suite concierges walk you off the ship at the end of the cruise. You meet them at an assigned time and location (for us it was 7:30, 8:00, or 8:30 in the Bionic Bar) and they will escort you past the line to the gangway. You will receive instructions in your cabin when the time comes.
I'm sure there was other stuff but that should get you started.

Here I am, 51 days out from my Oasis of the Seas cruise out of Bayonne, and low and behold I see those magical words in my email inbox: Your Stateroom Has Been Upgraded.  My minimum $700 bid moved me from a JS guarantee to a 1 Bedroom Aquatheater Suite!  I am beyond stunned, the timing, the acceptance, all of it!  So Suite Snob crew (this is in fact a term of endearment!), help a dad who's never stayed in anything bigger than a Promenade View room taking his kids on their 1st cruise with the lowdown: what do I do now?  Do I cancel my MDR reservations if we're going to do CK, or will the concierge do that?  I suddenly have so many questions that I hadn't even thought about!  Any advice/pointers/experience would be greatly appreciated!

I believe it means the sale runs June 9-15 and you cannot further discount something in your cart.  If you see a price you like on something you already purchased  you would have to cancel the order and do a new booking.
