11pm - 80's party in the Promenade

I'll refrain from adding a couple of photos from Playmakers that I can't recall taking or explain how I got them on my phone after this.  At some point after midnight I decided I needed to start packing.  These short cruises suck.   Packing under the influence sucks worse.

I'm not sure what the official criteria is.   I was talking with the bar staff and mentioned I was bribed to remove the photo of @CruiseLifeRick.  We laughed about it (and Rick in general) and before I knew it a few cocktails later I was having my picture taken.  

No cruise on a Voyager class ship would be complete without visiting the helipad.

I Was Just Thinking That They Could  Move Majesty Or Empress Back To Tampa To Sail For 4 &5 & 7 Night Caribbean Cruises Because When Brilliance And Rhapsody Leave They Have No Other Ships There.

Won't happen for cruises, like mine, where the second day is in Cozumel.  Too far to travel in one day, I think.
PS - this is all my fault.  My final payment for my Cuba cruise was 4 days ago.

On the upside, you will most likely get a $200 FCC!!

I wonder if they'd fit under the Duluth Harbor Lift Bridge?  (I'm still pushing for cruises out of Minnesota/Wisconsin).

Ditto.  We like a promenade room as it's a great alternative to an interior (for similar price) but you get a window and extra sitting area.

You get a bid more living space in the Promenade Room and having a view of something is better than a view of nothing, in my opinion.

9 for us at the moment from now till March 2021.
My family KNOWS I am nuts ?

I could not agree more. Currently we have 3! The closest one is Anthem to Bermuda for 5 nights that leaves 4 weeks from today.  We really like having them stacked up so we are always in countdown to the next one. Friends ask us "don't you get bored cruising. Dont you want to try something else?" for all of the reasons you mentioned we have everything we could want on a cruise without the hassle of having to go get it. A cruise brings it all right to us.

For the fun of it, how many cruises do you have booked at once?  And do your non-cruising family and friends think you're nuts?
We had 5 cruises booked.  Then completed Symphony and came home and booked another so back up to 5. 
The previous booked ones are our end of summer cruises (4 nights - Navigator and Mariner) and March break cruises (7 nights - Anthem and Harmony) for next two years with DH and our kids.  
Our new one is a 4 night on Brilliance OR 6 night on Adventure end of Dec with DH (most likely select the 6 night but both are booked so we have the option).
And no one in our family or friends cruises like us, so they think we're nuts and don't get it and surprised we're planning so far out.  But we love it...it's such a wonderful way to travel with everything there, different stops (vs all inclusive), first class entertainment, variety of food, variety of amenities and activities (cruise compass), etc etc etc.

Yes you should, I did the transit on Princess back in 2002, so it would be nice to see a fresh view.

My FCC has been issued for the Oasis cancellation.  This is a day earlier than they stated in their email.
My situation was complicated because I used a previous FCC to pay down this Oasis sailing.  
True to their word, they re-issued that original FCC and my total FCC from this Oasis cancelation is in fact 100% of the cruise fare.  FCC calculations never include port fees and taxes so those are out of the equation as expected.  
They have applied this new FCC to a Panama Canal booking I had.  That booking required a $450 deposit because of the 16 night length.  With this Oasis FCC applied to that cruise they are refunding a portion of my Panama cruise deposit because I have now over paid it based on the combined $450 deposit and Oasis FCC.    
FCC cannot be used to pay taxes and port fees on another booking so for the price of taxes and port fees I am getting a free ocean view Panama canal cruise.  This new cruise comes with $50 of OBC.  
In addition to that, my Oasis FCC exceeded the cruise fare portion of my Panama canal cruise so I am left with $156 in residual FCC that I can apply to yet another cruise.  
So while I did "lose" some OBC and other perks on my Oasis booking, I am thrilled with a full refund plus a Panama Canal cruise with $50 in OBC for the price of ports fees and taxes.
Should I live blog that cruise?  Hmmm.  

We're taking my 16yo DS and his best friend this summer and we told them about formal night and showed pictures of all different people from our past cruises, some super fancy, us just "dressed up" for "church"...some in formal formal attire, some in nice jeans...we're letting them choose how formal they want to be...they both said they'd like to get new "suits", to dress up. 

On our last cruise I left the tie behind, went suit but no tie and it made for good pictures which is what the wife is really worried about. I looked and felt comfortable so it worked. 

This reply is for MEN ONLY. Women, DO NOT read this post! Okay, now that we men are together by ourselves.... here's where I stand on formal night. Women like to dress up. Sorry but they do. Ask the wife what she's wearing. Ask her to suggest something for you. She is thinking not just what you or she will look like, she'll be thinking what you'll look like together, standing in that line or in front of the photographer. Of course you can suggest a slight downgrade "Honey the jacket is nice but I don't think the tie is necessary" might get you out of the tie, but if the wife wants to dress to the hilt.... sorry bud, you will too. Think about it... it's all really about making them happy, and if a night or two of pinched collars, tight shoes and sweating in a jacket will do it, it's really a small price to pay. When dinner's over suggest grabbing a drink to take back to the room. Then change out of that monkey suit as fast as you can and continue on with your plans for the night.

With 4 Oasis class ships in the Caribbean and more on the way, I think it's about time to invest in a bigger dry dock on this side of the Atlantic!!!

Yeah, not really worried just more curious as to what to expect.  I like being surprised with the treats, but as someone who watches her refined sugar intake I'd prefer not to have the surprises...too tempting.  But man, if they gave me a plate of ranger cookies - glucose levels are a-risin'!  ? 

More champagne for me!

ohhh...I am almost to the point that I get a bottle of water....just 2 more cruises!...
