Those johnny cakes were interesting. Idk why but they tasted like blueberry cornbread to me. I really need to get back on a ship with MJ, -

I thought Hairspray was the best of all the Broadway productions I have seen on any cruise ship. If I recall, in Jan, there was only two showings, the first night and I believe later in the cruise.

I personally would book one room with your offer and one with your wife's, so that two rooms are booked. Not paying for one person is better than any current offers because the discount for the second person in each room is actually pretty decent. For example I booked an interior on Oasis for 7n with a bogod (buy one get one discount) offer and paid $944 with taxes fees and grats. It would have been another $300 to upgrade to a balcony: I never use one so I decided against it. At the time of booking those interiors were $1004pp without grats. Then I would book your daughter in a room using the family discount from the casino. You can get balconies for all the rooms.

Free mimosas and bloody Marys at the Continental breakfast. Cocktail hour is at almost every bar on the ship.

And we found the fixed price gift shop very pleasant.

I wasted money on the card this summer. We used it once because our cruise was so port-intensive. The ship name was written on it along with the date

Isn't it up to the vendors who now require tickets? So unless vendors have a list of names from Royal to check off, I'm not sure how a Seapass would work off the ship. I wouldn't want a vendor to be able to extract personal data electronically. Since we need ID, vendor should just check name on it. PS. It's not cyber safe for a vendor to be anywhere near your smart phone. I've seen too many Leverage reruns.

The Key on Star of the Seas

I've got it for that same price (which is insanely expensive) on my Star cruise in March. -
The suite departure logistics vary widely from ship to ship and concierge to concierge. I've met in the suite lounge, Schooner bar, R Bar, Bolero's and exited through main doors, crew doors and even crew stairwells. I've had concierges walk us just to security and have had some walk us all the way down to the terminal.

I am so excited to try MJ for brunch and dinner. Everything looks so -
When we were in a grand suite on Wonder this past April and our room was only 5 doors down from the suite lounge and the elevator was only the same floor. We left our bags outside the room and after breakfast we walked with a small group to the elevator, grabbed our bags and basically walked right off the ship moments later.

If they roll this out across all brands the tickets most likely would be on your sea pass card you wouldn't need your phone. According to the letter posted by Pattycruise it it states your sea pass card with serve as your key. Also if you're worried about having a physical piece of paper to serve as a reminder all you need to do is access your calendar while in your stateroom. Your calendar if you don't want to use your phone is also located on your stateroom TV. If this rolls out across all of Royals brands this really isn't a big deal you have to have your sea pass to get off the ship it would be the cruisers responsibility to know the date and time, Royal would need to incorporate the pick location into your TV calendar once rolled out digital excursion tickets would cut down on a tons and tons of waist.

Whay Shall we See on the Symphony..July 20-27

We're going to miss you by one week! We sail on the 27th and Hairspray was only showing up for Day 1 as well on our sailing. I also found that odd. -
Right now it sounds like your only option is to combine the cruise fare for 1 option from both of you into a single comped interior room, pay for an upgrade to a balcony, and book a standard cruise fare for the other 2 using an external travel agent. Be aware though that sometimes the upgrade from an interior to a balcony is more than just outright booking a balcony room from an external travel agent. You could also look at using the cruise fare for 1 as separate reservations and see how much it is to add another person and upgrade to a balcony for each room. You still would need to book the 3rd room with a travel agent. Personally, I would book the 2 rooms with the cruise fare for 1 if the price isn't much more than the combined offers option. The reason being is that you could potentially get a better offer (cruise fare for 2 or upgraded to oceanview/balcony) for the same sail date some time in the next couple of months and get some money refunded. Once you have a standard reservation, inside the 90 day final payment window, there's not much you can do if a better offer happens to come in without losing money on the reservation.

We changed after brunch, went in the hot tub for a bit, then returned to our spot by the hippos. I reminded my wife we have credits for Izumi in the Park & Playmakers (didn’t even mention GK Wine Bar). I’d translate her response as “are you kidding me?” TBH, I’m kinda feeling the same way. If nothing else, this is gonna be interesting.

I'm going to partially disagree here. You do get the ride down with a concierge or representative, HOWEVER, you need to actually get to the suite lounge and then wait for the ride down. They block off one of the elevators to accomplish this, so instead of waiting on a bank of 4 elevators, you’re waiting on a single elevator. I found that on disembarkation from Harmony last year, getting to the lounge meant stairs. The elevator banks were a sea of humanity, filling the elevator area and lining up down the halls. The suite lounge was full to the brim with breakfast goers. There was a 20 minute wait to be seated. It was also a waste of time, as we never got served, flagging down 2 wait staff and a manager. The smart folks brought their luggage with them to the lounge. We guessed - this was our first real suite, we had a Jr. Suite one time before. Fortunately, we guessed right and brought our bags, but.. That made it all the more difficult to walk around. About an hour in, they started calling for disembarkation, so having not gotten served, an hour plus after being seated, we decided to go, and grab something outside the ship. This was the only sub par experience on the 7 day sailing, but it was atrocious; as if we put on clothes that made us invisible. after letting the restaurant manage know we didn’t get any food, <karen> and expect the survey to reflect it </karen> we spent about 20 minutes waiting for the elevator to get us down to the luggage and disembarkation, which did go quickly thanks to bypassing the lines. On our previous cruise aboard Voyager, we bought the key. Although it didn’t really do a lot for us, we had the departure at our leisure and breakfast which was much less frenetic, not hurried, and went significantly more smooth than the Harmony Suite debarkation experience. My suggestion would be to get to the suite lounge early on debarkation day for food, and come back to the lounge with your bags once you’ve gotten fed.

I see the option, but my sailing isn't until next year. I don't think you're going to like the price though... -
Enjoy! Will be following along for sure!
