They stopped the tribute bands for the past few months, but I did see that the rock band called "Phoenix" who played on Oasis a lot last year, are schedule to play again next month. They are definitely not on every sailing. You can keep an eye on the websites of the usual suspects to see if they mention any upcoming sailings. Va4fam Posted September 19, 2023 Report Share Posted September 19, 2023 Hope tribute bands not being "phased out." We were on Odyssey over Easter/Spring Break and disappointed no tribute band. Last year I was in NYC and saw that FAN HALEN was doing 2 weeks on Anthem. I seriously tried to find a way on the cruise but overruled by my wife. Love to see more Tribute artists! There are a couple of gentlemen playing Neil Diamond tributes, and well as Elvis tributes and Willie Nelson - all very good! If they no longer offer tribute bands in the music hall then what on earth is the point of that place? If this rumor of no house tribute band or rock & roll cover band is true, then they might as well lock the doors on the place and close it down. We were just on Wonder last week for a holiday week and the tribute band “Temperature” was there all week. Not my style music at all and IMHO a terrible waste of a once great music venue. I'm a 90's kid, not big into music anyway, and spend virtually no time in Dazzles/Music Hall but I could see hanging out for a bit for something else... especially since we won't be seeing the Wonder shows over and over again and our evenings will be a lot more free now that we've done all the main shows. We went to the Schooner Bar on Allure for the house piano guy doing Billy Joel/Elton John (more for my wife) and he was terrible. I don't think so- this is a tribute band that has been pretty popular on the ships over the past few years, BUT they did say they played the main theater, and not music hall. Was on it last year and they had Journey USA which was a journey tribute band. Also saw a Aerosmith tribute that was great and another time there was a Led Zeppelin tribute.
