It is either a bottle which is glass or a can which is metal.

So his question is what size is the metal can that is shaped like a bottle so he can get the correct koozie.
tiny260
I'm 99% positive they are the same size as the metal can, so any normal kozie should work. packercruising
AshleyDillo
They're 16oz aluminum cans most of the beers on board. Miller Lite and Coors Light I know for sure fit the standard 12oz can koozies. Michelob Ultra, Budweiser and Bud Light I are taller and skinnier, so they might need the bottle-sized koozie. Or you could just drink faster... Fuzzywuzzy

OMG!!! .... you are a heretic and should be stoned and burned at the stake. Only glass bottles or draft in a glass are acceptable receptacles for brew. jefro
in response to jolly ogre...i much prefer my beer straight from the tap,and as a last resort ill drink from an aluminum can. bottles are for the most part the lesser evil. but im guessing the ship doesnt carry bottles as to limit any injuries from broken glass so im down to consuming from aluminum so thank you bean 79 for the heads up on another thread. I will say this has been an entertaining topic.

Stella, Corona, Amstel Light, Heineken when not on tap, etc. American beer is usually in the aluminum bottle shaped container.
foxrunner
I'm sorry sir but I must protest most vigorously. Pistol at forty paces or cutlasses if you prefer, or a great microbrew in a can or a bottle. Bottling date is much more important than the holy vessel that the nectar is contained in. Modern cans are as evolved if not better because glass has light contamination issues. Sorry sir I cannot relate to your opinion as I don't partake in the swallowing of such swill known as beer. Only the finest whiskey for me......crown royal. hahaha. packercruising
A regular koozie works for us, but we don't drink that light beer in a metal can stuff. Do they make koozies for pint glasses? If you are in doubt, you can get wrist koozies, which are really neat.
Psycho and Barb
Yes the Aluminum beer cans ones take a bigger/special koozie. We bought one years ago on a Royal ship but I cant remember which ship.
