We sailed on it in 2017, and booked it again for early April this year. Great crew, good price, and nice itinerary.
You can get around this if you leave your luggage folded open rather than zipping it shut.  The bonus is that you can pull it out a little bit, and put your dirty laundry back in it as necessary.

No such thing as "a little cheating" when it comes to food/snacks/drinks on a cruise ship.......can I get an Amen!

I’m here with my rum group, and since the Don Q rum distillery is closed for the weekend to give the workers some time off, they graciously flew in someone from their European operations to give us a seminar and some tastings.  It’s great that a big company would do that for a small tour group.
Being the holiday, Ponce was dead, but we managed to see the sights and have a good time nonetheless.
Tomorrow we dock in St. Kitts and take a ferry to Nevis for another tour of a spiced rum place run by a friend of many of us.
I’m loving the ship and crew.  Literally my only complaint is that the Diamond Lounge is way too small for the number of people on this particular cruise.  Other than that, this is a great cruise and great crew. Hope your vacation is going as good as mine!

Your hobby is smoking.  The by-product of which is smoke, which stinks up my clothes, my hair, and generally makes it hard to breathe.

My hobby is drinking beer.  The by-product of which is urine.  Would it be alright if I peed in your clothes, in your hair, and into your nose?

Anyone who's cleaned up after my kids after lunch in the Windjammer deserves every penny of that tip, and then some (it takes quite a while to get into those hazmat suits).
Kids make a much bigger mess than adults do; frankly, the mandatory gratuity for them should be more than those for adults.

Those "some" are plain wrong. Like it or not, gratuities are part of the cost of the cruise.  You can argue the merits of this system, but until it changes you are obliged to pay gratuity for every guest, including kids. Period.

Simply said, if you are gonna drop thousands on a vacation that you just can't enjoy without getting high, knowing it to be unlawful, then you have other problems.

Thank you!  I did a Bing image search, and it sure looked like callos.  I really enjoyed it, and look forward to having it again someday.

I am still going to bring my therapy wife on future cruises if they like it or not. I will make sure her vaccinations and papers are in order.  She does not bark a lot but her moans can be bothersome .

If it also had huge bones (oxtail) and peanut sauce, it was kare-kare.  Tripe alone sounds like callos if it was in a tomato sauce.  Callos is influenced by the Spanish, kare-kare is more Malay/Asian.  Eating oxtail in a formal dining room is like having spaghetti in a white shirt - challenging.

Assuming you are docked at Pt. Seraphine and not the industrial area across the bay, just get off the ship, and walk straight through the shopping area.  When you get to the last shops, you'll see Rum Therapy on the left.  Stop there to "rehydrate".  Then continue on about 40 feet into the grassy area and there will be a wooden structure which is the brewery's tap room.  They had I think 8 styles on tap.  Actually I hesitate to call it a taproom as you kind of expect some of the brewing to take place there; this is more like a regular bar that happens to be run by the brewery.
If you are docked on the industrial side, they have water taxis for a few bucks that will take you to Pt. Seraphine.  When they drop you off you'll be at the north side of the peninsula. Head towards the shopping area, and it will be the first structure you'll walk by, on the right if you stay on the sidewalk.  (note that they were extending the dock when I was there in November so the drop off location may have changed since then).
I looked on Google Earth to see if I could get a birds-eye view to explain, but the images there were taken before the structure was built.  If you look there now you'll see a big grassy area north of the shopping area with the red roofs - the taproom is a new wooden structure in the middle of the area, it's the only building there.
I had an IPA that was splendid, I wish I could remember the name of it, and they had a stout with Cacao nibs that was worthy of the trip.

TGfF - Thank God for Facebook.  I looked on my timeline and saw that "Naked Fisherman IPA" was one of the IPA varieties (they had 2 and both were good).  My wife liked the Passionfruit Ale as well.

Yeah, but good luck finding any bar service in the MDR.  You'll have a better chance of finding a leprechaun riding a unicorn through the MDR than finding bar service.
