  1. You say deter I say another way to nickel and dime us.
  2. Does it cost for every ship now? Did it on Anthem a few years ago and it was included.
  3. RC has 3 drink packages soda, refreshment (which is pretty much except alcohol) and the deluxe package which covers everything up to I think $13
  4. Were going on Anthem for the second time in 3 years, went on Adventure last year. We’ve been trying to go out of Cape Liberty lately to save on airfare. Hopefully trying to get on Oasis next year.
  5. We’re not supposed to but we give our kids the freestyle cups from our drink packages. They don’t drink enough soda to justify buying them a soda package so we bend the rules a bit.
  6. Wooo!!! I’m pumped for oasis of the seas to come to Bayonne. Does anybody know if Oasis has water slides?
  7. It says you have to purchase for anyone over 6 years old. Kinda ridiculous they want to charge kids for this. They don’t really get much value for the price of $25 a day.
  8. Have a great time, following. Adventure is one of my favorite ships.
  9. Thanks for the info. I didn’t know the teen club was so regimented, I just figured it was a meeting place with the occasional activity. My 11 year old is my oldest so this is new ground for us.
  10. They are all age appropriate for the teen club which is 12 and older. My daughter will be 12 a week after we return from our cruise and is asking if she can go to the teen disco. We have a decision to make, she’s really mature for her age but older kids can talk about and do things we are not comfortable with.
  11. If your planning on buying close to 10 pictures then it is. Otherwise I wouldn’t, I think single pictures are around $20 each with some discounts with whichever level crown and anchor you are. We usually buy 3-4 so it’s not worth it for us.
  12. I’m pretty sure to purchase through the cruise planner you have to beyond 3days out. After that all purchases must be made onboard.
  13. Can’t wait to test this out on Anthem... Too bad I have to wait another 172 days ??
  14. She must have been still drunk from the Super Bowl celebration!!!! Go Birds
  15. Isn’t that the big argument on this site on using a travel agent? Shouldn’t they be checking this routinely? I have found they are not as reliable as people think that’s why I just do everything myself.
  16. Lobster night usually is on night 6, so if your a fan the dining room is the place to be.
  17. We went last May and had a great day. The main bar had activities all day that kept our kids engaged and my daughter won the hula hoop contest and they gave her a fish back pack. It’s certainly not the nicest beach in the Caribbean but we still had fun. 3 beers for $10 is a good deal anywhere you go. We also did Pearl island 2 years ago which was a nicer beach but thought it was a bit overpriced for what we got.
  18. We got off May 26th, I even asked the customs guy and he said they haven’t done it for a while. Maybe because that was a repositioning cruise they had you fill one out.
  19. Cape Libery did not require custom forms for our cruise in May
  20. With each voom purchase you receive a code but that code can only be used on one device at any given time. You can share the code with whoever you want but only one person can use it at a time. We usually just share one code, we’re not on our phones much. It’s really just to keep tabs at home.
  21. I called RC and linked my parents and mine reservation numbers and asked to sit together at dinner. It was no issue whatsoever, the whole thing took maybe 5 minutes.
