All of my upcoming cruises are showing a Senior discount for the DBP.  I don't even use the 6 drink vouchers I get now so this is still not something that I would consider purchasing but it is very interesting and something I had not seen before.

I have to say, I was underwhelmed by Jamie's Italian on Anthem, but loved the older version of Giovanni's on Radiance.
I 100% agree - other lines seem to make partnerships work, as do resorts on land. I freely admit to being tempted by Emeril Lagasse's role with Carnival to give them a try. 

Not sad to see B&J go and JR can head that direction as well IMO.
For me, where did all the cows go?  Where will they show up?  I hope they were kept and will become Easter Eggs of the past at some point on ships.

How about we keep B&J and just get rid of Cats on Oasis of the Seas.

I wish they'd use Turkey Hill ice cream. Of the "store bought" brands it's the absolute best in my opinion.

I was once in the one in Allure, which is on the boardwalk. It was empty and sad. I don't know if it gets much action during summer when more kids are on, but it's easy to imagine it's not really profitable.
BTW - there is ice cream as a dessert option in the MDR every single day. It's super basic, but between that and the one in the pool deck, it makes paying for ice cream (albeit, much more elaborate) a bit "too much".

While I agree that the cost-cutting maneuvers have changed how I sail on Royal. I cannot see this as a negative to fault Liberty. Ben & Jerry's at the store is way more expensive than other premium ice cream. I never purchase it at home, and I rarely see people in them on ships. And on a lot of the new classes, they serve their own. So if eliminating an expensive partnership, helps the bottom line so they can focus elsewhere, I am all for it. 

I've never seen a line at Ben & Jerry's on the Promenade like I do for the free soft serve line on the pool deck.  Can't get much cheaper than free.

Found out tonight our friends who have become cruise partners with us have decided to join us on this cruise!  Also my sister-in-law is booked!  Not sure my excitement about this cruise will ever fade away…I know it’s a loooong way off!

This cruise is special for several  reasons:
First time on Quantum class Longest cruise so far Only have to fly one way (from Italy to USA!) Best reason…I will hit Diamond status on the 12th night!!  😱💎  So…anyone joining us?

I prefer to pay as much "up front" as possible, to avoid that "sticker" shock at the end of the cruise. But I think I'm actually setting a trap for myself.... "Everything's paid for, why shouldn't I buy that ship model?"  😉

Yep, the most painful day in cruise planning...final payment day.

Made even higher by throwing gratuities on at the last minute to get the old rate. But that one will feel better with a low bill on board.

Made the final payment, and we're a mere 98 days away..... 

This will be the second cruise my family and I will be going on together. When I say family, I mean my mom, three adult siblings, and all five of our partners. This will also only be my second cruise ever, so I'm getting really excited! Even though it's still 6 months away. 😞 

Correct.  Debated between Jewel out of San Juan and this, but settled on yet another cruise on Adventure.

B3B! That is awesome. We are also on this cruise. It will be our first Emerald cruise. 

The only quasi "bummer" is that this will make 3 consecutive cruises on Adventure in less than a year. Yeah I know, first world problems.
