HI Joe, I can give you my cruise planners information if you'd like to call her.  She did so a booking for me and only charged my $250, as she put the booking in just my name as I am not sure about it.  One good thing with Celebrity, their deposits are refundable. 

Asia... like Spectrum it will be designed more towards an Asian crowd. Quantum will move to Australia and join Ovation, one to be homeported in Sydney and the other in Melbourne to compete against other cruise lines who are homeporting ships there from 2020/2021. Look out for RCI's first ever cruise to Antarctica! It will then service Alaska as it does now in the Australia off season.
PS - I completely made all that up but it's worth a guess!
 
 

Unfortunately, the poll result didn't take into account possible dates. ?? I can't swing an October cruise, not even for Columbus Day weekend in 2020. My company is never closed on Columbus Day (if the market's open, my job is open), and our school district only has that day off and no others that week. My older daughter will most likely be away at college and living on campus, and I don't think my in-laws would be able to watch our other daughter and get her to high school each day; so that leaves me unable to go even with just my wife.
Sorry, everyone. I'd have loved a chance to meet a bunch of you, but it's just going to have to wait until a later year. I'll be planning a cruise with my family for the summer, probably that 9-night CA/NE offered mid-July or the 10-night Bermuda & Caribbean. But there's this repositioning cruise for Celebrity Summit that'll be hitting Iceland and Greenland in August...

It was on the Navigator sailing i just finished on 2 Dec, that's what had me puzzled.

In Costa Maya we docked next a small shipe from  Regent of the seas (Seven seas Voyager)

As I understands that suppose to be a luxury cruise ship. I could not to notice the dents on the side of the ship

Looks like they had an issue and someone went to the CEO and told him " let's not activate the insurance so our fee won't get up. I will take some of my guys and with hammers plus several packages of Bondo we will fix it"

Rushed a bit to finish aforementioned breakfast, but I managed to meet up with Mr. Grey of Thenford Grey Tours for my Grand Island Tour of St. Kitts. 
Mr. Grey was our guide of our group of 20 and he was very funny, very knowledgeable, with a passion for his home country and meeting visitors. He pointed several historical landmarks en route to our first destination, Romney Manor.

Quiet day in port with just Adventure and another ship from a luxury line tendered in the distance.

Hope you enjoyed St Kitts. Did you get to meet Thenford Grey? How was your tour? I actually took my avatar from one of the stops on the tour--it's where the Atlantic Ocean (on the left) meets the Caribbean sea.

Did you happen to notice the rest room sign in the building--it's one of best ever!

I wrapped up Day Five with a show by ventriloquist Kevin Johnson, Holiday Harmonies on the Promenade with some of the RC singers, and the Dancing under the Stars party on the pool deck. 

Dinner again in the MDR was excellent, with a performance of O Sole Mio by the waitstaff during dessert ?

I had asked about this a while back, and the consensus seemed to be that it really doesn’t matter. When the ship is at sea, she’s too far from land to make anything out. It’s not like Alaska where you have land close by on both sides.

To give some sense of it, walking from the ship to Nellie's Beach and our cabana took me about five minutes moving at a brisk (for being mobility limited) walking speed. Adrenaline beach is about midway on that jaunt and the closest beach to the ship, IIRC.

Next, a brief photo stop at Orient hilltop before our lunch stop in Marigot. 

I had a very yummy lunch of pancetta, cheese, and pesto panini and pastry. ? (Sadly, the bakery was sold out of macaroons ?)



I had time to admire the yachts before meeting up with our group.

We made another photo stop at Oyster Pond prior to reaching the iguana farm. 

I then met up with Bernard himself for my SXM Island Tour I through Bernard’s Tours.  Our driver was David Taylor, a very funny, informative guide. All through the tour, he pointed out landmarks, interesting facts about the country. 
We crossed the Dutch - French border into the French side and made a photo stop at a lookout point, visit with sea urchins.
