Have to admit, on our San Juan cruise - got all the way there and forgot my underwear  o_0   BUT, that's why you fly in a day early - cause we went shopping for some new ones

Not on the way to the cruise, but on the way home, I left a brand new pair of athletic shoes in one of the 348 tiny storage cubbies  in the room. Maybe if I had worn them even once during the trip I would have remembered them... ? 

Hey suite snob (he said respectfully), robes, although maybe not as luxurious, are provided to us lowly non-suite people that are Platinum C&A and above.?

I realized at some point on the flight to Florida that I had forgotten my tie for formal night. While walking through American terminal in Miami I saw a clothing store, so I stopped in and asked about ties.  The sales people didn’t seem very interested but showed me some ties.  There was a whole table and my wife was looking through intently but something felt wrong to me.  I brushed my hand over the ties, casually flipping over a price tag.  I continued to look for about 30 sec then said “thanks but I didn’t see anything I like.”  
We left the store and my wife asked what was wrong with the ties.  She had seen a couple that would have matched. I told her that they were over $100!*
I bought one on the ship on formal night for $10. It’s not a bad tie either.  
* I don’t remember the exact price but it was ridiculously expensive.

@SpeedNoodles Make sure you do the escape room even if it is not part of the Key. It is a lot of fun.

I can't help thinking that as far as slow sales in Europe are concerned, it's less likely to be about Brexit and more likely to be about the astronomically high prices.
We are doing the Caribbean again this year because it's actually cheaper for us to fly all the way across the pond and cruise there than it is to cruise in our own back yard. 

Just put a retractable roof on the indoor pool deck area and climate wouldn't matter as much.

Not a chance in hell.
 
Cruises are way too cheap out of the west coast right now for  Royal to stick that ship over there.

@Lovetocruise2002, one of the best excursions we ever took was Hartleys Helmet Diving in Bermuda. They were fantastic and are still there. This is from their website (not us), but I guess a picture like this will never be of you or @Matt

Haha...you two obviously still don't know me well.  
Two reasons why you would never see me in that water:
1. I hate wet sand so I never get into the water at the beach.
2. I am a germaphobe and not a fan of animals.  The thought of some fish or whatever coming right up to me in the water makes me run fast.  @Matt would get that ?

I'm not sure that phrase has ever been uttered before in the history of mankind...

I've hesitated to dive into this but would really like to hear from more experienced cruisers on what you have observed on past cruises. First, I like cold beer....sometimes I like several. But I think I do pretty well drawing the line and shutting it down. My wife likes a mixed drink, sometimes a second or third. She knows when to shut it down.
The cruises look like a good opportunity for someone to overdo it.....to the point of being a problem for others. With the drinks packages, numerous bars, party atmosphere, I'm sure the cruise staff, bartenders, security, etc. have procedures in dealing with these folks. What do they look for? What are the limits? What are the repercussions?
I'm not trying to be the party pooper but just wondering how it's handled. Thanks.

I just returned from a vacation(not a cruise ?) and I lost my wallet in the MCO airport so I was hoping that with all of the cruise travelers here someone might have some advice
I contacted the airport and left Emails, VM's, and even tweets to MO airport lost and found and so far no luck. I'm hoping that once the weekend is over I might hear rom someone - has this happened to anyone before and were you able to get in touch with someone that helped to get your lost item back??
I have put locks on all of my CC so far but im hoping I can get the wallet back so I don't need to get new everything

Carnival certainly thinks PC is ready by putting the Mardi Gras there. Disney just signed a deal for increased sailings and is putting their new ships there. 
Orlando is one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world. The people are already coming.  There is no reason they couldn't support two Oasis ships while south Florida is doing the same. 

I think that may have been misinterpreted...a ship with a different clientele could just as well be Texas.  With Oasis getting a BBQ restaurant and the talks of improving the Galveston port, one of the Oasis class ships may end up there.  They always say everything is bigger in Texas..so the cruise ships might as well be too!

There are none which is why I don't think this will happen anytime soon! If you look where Ovation docks in Sydney Harbour there is not much room for a larger ship without blocking the busy ferry area.



 

We are in the last days of the Ovation Alaska sailing and visited the next cruise desk to do a placeholder at minimum.  Apparently they just announced a few repositioning cruises for this ship in spring 2012.  We booked one that looks sort of interesting.  Would like to do both but don’t think we could get enough time off to accommodate a 13 and 14 night b2b.  According to the agent it sounds like those will out very soon.  

Yep, typo, should have been 2021.  I can always say I am not use to putting  “2” as the third number for the year but it really is I don’t want to wait another two years to do that trip.
