SPS got a reaction from Okgladgal in Upload your vaccination documents
Are you actually saying that the RC IT department might not be up to date with the current protocols and requirements in regards to their email system? The hell you say! 😆

SPS reacted to twangster in Electrical needs
I travel with an international travel adaptor that has four USB ports for charging devices. It plugs into the 220v euro style power port on a ship leaving the two North American outlets free for other devices.
It has slide out input options for different countries which helps for traveling abroad as well.

SPS reacted to Pooch in Deluxe drink package with rising prices
Not likely. Phone CSRs don’t know crap about much and nothing about what happens on board. If the “usual” drink prices increase, the package limit will increase with it. The terms on line rarely update on a timely basis. When we originally purchased our DBP for Harmony last March, package said $12 but drinks on board were $13. Never charged an up fee.

Right? And haven't the cocktail prices on Oasis-class ships been $14 each for a quite a while with the purchase of a beverage package covering them?

SPS got a reaction from TheBurnsTravelers in Worried there are no shore excursions listed?
Hey, @CruisingOz, just an FYI.
I've had previous bookings that have added more excursion options closer to the sail date.
For example, last January, we were looking to do something in San Juan at the end of the cruise and were finding very limited offerings (We had a late afternoon flight) At around 3-4 months out, more options became available that included airport drop off (Perfect!).
Of course, take this info with a grain of salt right with the situation we face right now.

SPS reacted to Matt in How is staffing?
Staffing has been great as of the last month or so. They've gotten very close to being back to full staffing.
When I was on Mariner, they were at like 97 or 98% staffing levels.

Well, you COULD keep them. I would also expect some sort of extra charge on your credit card for doing so, too!

Another option is the Seattle Express. $20 each for Adults/$15 each for children (under 5) for shuttle service from the Pier to the Airport/Airport Area Hotels.

You won't be recognized as a Platinum member until after your cruise concludes and your C&A account is updated. (Usually within two weeks after disembarkation)
You won't receive Platinum benefits until the next cruise.

If your husband logs into the Royal Website what does his status and points say?
If they aren't the same as yours call CAS and have them place you both in a relationship. (800) 526-9723

You gets pins for Platinum on up. If your Emerald pins are not delivered to your stateroom, you can request them at the C&A Representative's Desk onboard.

SPS reacted to janderson in Turning Platinum
I'm not upset at not getting the perks. This is my first cruise to switch levels where I might get something to show it and I just didn't know how it worked. Thank you for the information and I might stop by and see if we can get our pins but that is no big deal either. I can wait until the next cruise no issues. It is good to know though that you might have to let your stateroom attendant know to put the robes in your room. Thank you everyone for the help!!

In addition to the cashier in the casino, you might also be able to break large bills in the "cash out" machines there, too.

SPS got a reaction from Pooch in A man walks into a bar…,

Yes. They have several different flavors in addition to the Original Blue Curacao and a bar with a pretty good menu of cocktails!
We brought back half-sized bottles of original and chocolate.

Since this isn't directly related to cruising and is only likely to spur "discussions" of Covid itself, I'll lock this thread.

SPS got a reaction from CrimsonCruiser in Ice cream cones
A quick search I did appears to show that RC uses Keebler SUPER TREAT! Eat-It-All cones. (I don't know if they ONLY use this brand)
It doesn't appear that any animal products are used to make them.
An Artic Zone Soft Serve Yogurt station on board Mariner.
Nutrition & Ingredients label from the cones pictured.
HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
