I only get the Key IF I'm in a balcony room or lower. It really has no point of getting the Key when you have most of the perks given, plus extra in Sky Class rooms.

So did our family. We made the cut-off via our travel agent to make it cheaper. Somehow, it was around 8000 instead of the casual 12000 - 15000 grand on a balcony for a family of 4, 3 days. 6000 for us in a family balcony (Oasis OTS) and 7 nights.

Worked for us perfectly. Family of 4 with the early embarkation at Cape Liberty in August was great. Internet packages were fast and never was slow. Key lunch was good as well.

Your other option would be to keep the bottom bed split and go with something like:

I rented a car in Aruba and visited several beaches and also made a dinner reservation at a local restaurant.  Took a catmaran cruise before dinner.
LOVED Aruba.  Curacao, took a bus tour that stopped for lunch and snorkeling.  Curacao is hands down one of my favorite ports, so gorgeous and the snorkeling was phenomenal!

I would suggest going to a beach at least once.  The drive-around-the-island tours get old - one is probably enough.  Some beaches are accessible by bus in addition to taxi, and other members have posted about day passes at local resorts.  Curacao and Aruba are walkable downtown or to nearby shopping.

Me and my family did the same cruise! Instead, we went in August on Oasis. I beg you, please get parking at the port, it's really worth the 150 dollars. If you can, try to get the Key as well. Helped us in our vacation with early check-in, and some of the first people to leave the ship (key has priority dep, and leave at any time from 6 to 9 am).

    Hello All,
I am going on my first ever cruise! Sailing on Anthem of the Seas out of NJ to Bahamas, I was hoping some more experienced cruisers could let me know of what kind of items to pack since its late fall when I'm sailing out of the area & down into the warmer weather. For reference I am from Long Island NY, so I know the weather is very unpredictable in the area in November. I chose this cruise since it was a local port, I wouldn't need to worry about additional airfare & hotel costs.
    Any advice is greatly appreciated

We rented a car in Curacao last time and are doing it again next week. You can explore on your own for @$100 for the car. We had 4 people and one excursion would have been more than the car. We had snorkeling gear and hit a few beaches. No car in Aruba for us. There is a bus station really close to the port. Going to a beach with a restaurant over the water.

In curaçao we hired a driver for the day (Eddie) at the taxi stand right off the ship. We had 8 people, total cost was $200/family. He stayed with us all day, gave us a tour of the island and took us to some amazing beaches. The highlight was snorkeling with sea turtles. We have been to Aruba before, lots of great snorkeling spots, or just take a cab to eagle beach. We rented golf carts in Bonaire. Not much to do there other than snorkel. Few food options. We got back on the ship early.

Came back from an Oasis OTS cruise with CocoCay included in it. I got a cabana in Chill Island, which I believe was 110% worth it. I specifically liked that we got our own cabana attendant (don't forget to tip them, they deserve it!), which we ordered snacks and drinks from. The Chill Island free seating was crowded, and barely had any seats left. The private lagoon (pretty sure is private but not 100% sure) for us cabana guests was also amazing, as it was quiet and barely had anyone there. Kids loved Thrill Waterpark, and specifically loved the slides with the trap door. I'm very happy to also have the chance to come back next year as well.

We (my wife, and daughters 6 & 8 and I) will be with you on Wonder in 2024.
It is the second week of a B2B for us on Wonder. Coming all the way from Europe only for one week seems to much hassel so we stay 2 😃

I’m glad. They should increase them even more because the crew deserves to earn a decent living and they work really hard for the guests. Gratuities is something I don’t mind paying.

You could bring just a regular not powered usb hub. Most rooms have at least one USB port. It’s the 120 thy don’t like. Amazon sells a few models. I’d suggest giving that a go.

Would I able to bring an extension cord like this onboard https://a.co/d/2Agc8n0?
I've brought it on Oasis OTS recently with no problem. Should I not bring it incase of it being confiscated by security?

If you need an extension cord or a power outlet of some kind, I'm pretty sure you can just ask your room steward for one, they're happy to give you one (Unless that's changed, haven't been on a Royal Cruise in a couple of years), I asked for one on my last Royal Cruise and the room steward one had one ready for me when I got back to my room, unless you need your own for whatever reason.

It has multiple outlets therefore some security personnel will assume it's got a surge protector in it.  It doesn't matter what the product description says.  No one is going to stop and check.  I would say the odds are high of this being confiscated.

Seriously! Give me a corn tortilla and some salsa and I can put together a bomb taco with what's available in the Windjammer. It is a shock to the system traveling outside of Texas that breakfast tacos aren't available. They are my quick go to for breakfast. Breakfast burritos are not the same... I don't want a flour tortilla twice the size of my head! 😂
