Yup, they come up with their own forecast based on a number of things - but even if you look at all of the models (many of which tend to disagree with each other by large margins), they all show Jose heading N.

    1.  No reservations required for breakfast or lunch. Dinner reservations are a good idea.
    2.  If you rent a cabana at Labadee you can bring non-suite guests into Barefoot Beach.  A cabana can accommodate 6 people, total.  Guests are not permitted unless there is a cabana involved. As suite guests, you and your wife will be welcome anywhere in Barefoot Beach (whether you have a cabana or not) at any time.  You can go in, enjoy the upgraded lunch buffet and then leave and go back to some other beach, if you choose to do that. Personally, I don't think the upgraded lunch is that much different from the buffets at the other beaches so I'm not sure if I would go out of my way to get the "upgraded" food but you could if you wanted to.
    3.  Junior suites (Sea Class) do not have feee wifi as part of theirs suites amenities.  If the guests are Diamond Plus or Pinnacle Club members they would get free or limited free wifi as a function of their loyalty status but not necessarily as guests in a Jr Suite
    4.  Formal nights are usually nights 2 and 5 but that's always subject to change.

You'll be fine. I've done many cruises with multiple U.S. port stops. There only time you are bothered with immigration, whether a U.S. citizen or not is if the ship has visited a foreign port prior to the U.S. port. Since you're going from one U.S. port to another, there won't be any issues.

Should you watch it?  Sure.  Be concerned?  Not in the sense of safety concerns or anything like that.  It's far too early to know where the storm will go that far out, but on it's current trajectory it would be somewhere vaguely close to Puerto Rico in the middle to second part of next week.  Being so far out anything could happen - the storm could fizzle out, it could veer out to sea, etc.  Generally ships just move around storms.  As we saw this past week things can be a bit more tricky when there is significant impact to the port of embarkation - but this type of occurance, of this severity, is very rare.  You can find additional information in the links and graphic below.

It's going to be about $38 via Uber X or Lyft or about $84 via one of their fancier/larger cars.  For a regular cab you're looking at about $75.  With little traffic it's about a 30 minute drive, but if you're coming in on a weekday it's likelt to be nearly twice that.  I've got information on South FL transportation options here: http://www.cruisehabit.com/uber-lyft-cabs-shuttles-how-get-and-your-cruise-easily-cheaply

I don't have any sailings within 72 hours so I can't validate whether or not there is an indicator you'd see if you've checked in.  If you were missing anything they'd have reached out though, and the rest can be completed at the port.  Don't stress over this, just be sure to be your documents and be sure that if any passenger names differ between your reservation and your docs that you bring proof of name changes or other docs.
Keep your prescription meds in your hand luggage, not that things are frequently lost but there is no sense risking it - just like when you fly keep the essentials (documents, medications, valuables) in your carry-ons.  Most people are brining on some sort of prescriptiosn meds, so no worries there.
Reach out if you have any other questions at all.

I frequently book guarantees - in fact I have one booked right now for the Harmony Group Cruise!
If you're not picky about the exact stateroom you get, then I see no reason not to.  If you think "as long as I don't get a cabin that..." - don't finish that sentence, a guarantee isn't for you.  Further, while sometimes guests get a pleasant surprise, don't book a guarantee counting on that.  More often than not you're assigned a stateroom of the same type (inside/OV/verandah) which you booked.

RCI doesn't stock Laphroaig *but* I did find a bottle of Laphroaig 10 on Allure of the Seas last year (perhaps a special request or an officer).  Ships with pubs now stock Ardbeg 10.  I personally have social engineered some request and have Ardbeg or Laphroaig on every sailing, though with the  new pub menu that is less of a concern.  On Empress in May they brough on Ardbeg Uigeadail for me, which also fits the bill nicely.

Ensure your passports are valid for at least 6 months after your departure date
Travel insurance (if you so choose)
Set a reminder to keep checking the site in the event of a target promotion (such as the 20% off bev packages some have seen)
Notify CC companies and/or banks that you'll be traveling when/where
Stop your mail, newspaper, etc (may have to wait until 90 days out)

The reduced OBC is a bit of a bummer, the reduced deposit thing is a bit of a shell game, so meh.

Billy, Larissa and I went to El Palomar and we loved it.  Great prices and a nice view of the ocean if you sit up front.  Like Billy & Matt said, it's closed one day a week, wish I could remember which day!!  :P
