I'm not sure what's confusing.  Swim diapers are only allowed in the baby splash zone..  If your activities absolutely have to include being with your little ones and them being in water, then I guess that's where you'll be.  You might see if they are interested in Adventure Ocean to give you some time apart, or possibly other activities beyond swimming.  That's really up to you.

I think it's well known that they are a sponsor of royalcaribbeanblog.com.  I think many here try them because upon arriving here, they are/were booking on their own.  Seems like most have great experiences with them while some do not.
The key I think is for folks to take advantage of a TA for cruise bookings to save time at the very least and in many cases money as well.  Doesn't have to be MEI, but they are here so it is not in any way odd that they have a higher market share on this forum than they may enjoy in the marketplace at large.

You realize that choosing the lower cost GTY rooms is essentially placing yourself as a last minute room assignment don't you?  That's what the discount is about.  If you decide to save a few bucks and roll the dice, don't be upset when the numbers don't read how you want them to.  You explicitly chose the option that took away your ability to select a particular room or deck.  You're misdirecting your disappointment.  RCI gave you what you chose, you chose something when you apparently wanted something else.

Supper Club has shown up in CP for me now.  Does appear to be no discount for Star Class.  Also formal attire is required.  Should be a fun night, but I do think they are sticking it to Star Class, I thought it included UDP, so why not the same benefits as UDP?  Don't answer, I know the answer to all of my questions is "money"
 

 

 
 

I think the OP was just worried about their cruise and what it was all about.  I thought the same as you initially, but I've come around on the OP and actually would like to hear how it resolves for them and if their cruise actually gets taken by a charter and how Royal accommodates them if so.
 

I'll second this.  You said it was like a novel and that's what I liked.  At times I felt like I was reading a chapter in a novel with setting and character development.  I think there's one more day.  Can't wait to read it.  Thanks for taking the time.

Not just the cafe, the entire 270 venue is a winner.  I love that space.  On Q class, 270 and the Music Hall are definite favorites!

I'm sure he had some food he didn't like and some that was fatty.   Saying you had a filet that was fatty is essentially saying that you had a filet that wasn't a filet.
I get it though,  when the overall experience is poor for someone,  it's easy to conflate a few complaints. 

They know they can sell it for a ton.  You're going to have a great cruise in there!

Insurance is one of those things that is a waste of money….until it isn’t.  We traveled for many years without it, too.  We were lucky and we continue to be lucky, but I’m not willing to bet our future that we will always be so lucky.  A medical emergency overseas would ruin us, financially.  I’m not willing to take that chance anymore. 

The costs are astronomical. My cousin was injured in Jamaica many years ago, ended up paralyzed. He needed to be flown back to the US. That flight was $30,000. I can’t imagine what it would be now. Because of that, I always get insurance..

Thanks to @Xaa for turning me onto the location of the computers on deck 8.  I have no idea how I missed them before !  There are LOTS of them and they are convenient and in good condition (for some reason at least one of the two up in the Crown Lounge is usually non-op).

I want to.  I really enjoyed the sailing but we had bad weather in ports. 
Five out of 8 of us have caught Covid so remain diligent in that regard.  I'll take these mild symptoms for that sailing any day.

Vacation mode is a thing for sure. 
People are weird.  If they are taking a cruise in a few months, they buy a package today, pay for it next month and then go on the trip and order what they will feeling free and happy that they avoided a big bill at the end as if that's the only way to do it.
I suggest for those not sure they need a DBP (if you're sure you need it, you need it), to simply add it to the cart, go to checkout and see the full amount, then cancel it and put that amount aside that day (or next month if they want to simulate charging it).  Then at the end of the cruise they have that money to pay the drink tab and what remains is their savings.  Vacation mode need not be sacrificed.

@Michael L I am sorry this happened to you, but this is not fraud. It sounds like you assumed the Aqua suite was a two bedroom because that is what you stayed in. When you bid, they list the amenities and general info of the room. This appears to be an expensive mistake on your part.

The 10 drink card was available starting on Day 4 on Wonder for Christmas sailing (Dec 23 - Dec 30).
