Is this true for sure? If I was booking nine cabins with an agent, I would definitively ask the agency if they can throw a discount or some on board credit and then use the OBC to pay for tips or something. I had an agent that did this for just two cabins but lately I book all the vacations myself.

Apparently there is a captain that has a motorcycle that he rides in the promenade for some of the parades and parties!  I just saw a picture of it but can't remember what ship!  But to answer the original post, I feel bad because this really seems like one of those things that depends on who you ask. You can call three times and you'll get three different answers. I'd say try it and the worst that will happen is they'll hold it for you until the end of the cruise. But maybe explaining why you have it and that you have no intentions of using it on board may get you on with it

Don't have a clue if you can or not but we have seen a group people bring their Harley Davidson's motorcycles on a cruise and ride them in the ports.

Interesting idea!   Seems to me that if ECVs are ok, your e-bike would pass muster.  But who knows the ways of the naughty room?

I’m going to the Norwegian Fjords and saw that one of the most popular things to do is to rent a bike at each port. Although the price to rent a regular bicycle or an electrical bicycle is not super high ($25 to $50 per port), it starts adding up quick. Plus there’s the hassle to have to download a different app for every city or sometimes need local currency just for that. So I was thinking if I could bring one of those e-bikes that fold into my cabin to use it on each port? Or if the ship has an area to store it between stops? I checked the list of forbidden items and didn’t see anything about e-bikes.

I don't know that anyone on the outside has a solid inkling to the inner workings of Royal Caribbean revenue management.
There is an actual department called "revenue management".  Some of the actions we experience are the result or automated scripts that sweep individual sail dates and apply automated or scripted responses to sale trends.  "Only 10 cabins in category XY left then adjust rate up by z%"  sort of thing.  "Less than 60 days and P% of category XY cabins available, then reduce price by m%".  There are also the humans in this department that keep an eagle eye on the process and deal with one-offs and exceptions.
Not all cabins always appear in the inventory that we get to see on the website.  They hold certain space for contractors or when the entertainment cast is being replaced there is some overlap where they need to accommodate both the old and new cast on board at the same time.  Guest cabin space can be used for this purpose.  They keep some space in reserve but at some point it may become clear they don't need it so it can get released.  That may go to GTY assignments so cabins get assigned that never appeared as being available on the public site.
Between automation and humans in revenue management they adjust, offer or withdraw GTY options using historical knowledge and predictions.  They also know with 6,000 guests involved historically some will cancel in the last X days.  They might not always get it right leading to oversold situations.   So there is a bit of voodoo magic & card reading involved.

Glad that this affect me in absolutely no way. When I take a vacation I block out the rest of the world and enjoy why I'm there in the first place, everything I left will still be there when I get back.

Before MAR 2020, I kept a database (with lots of input from this fantastic board).  Below is the data (a small sample, but with some trends if you look at it).  My plan is to start up again (as soon as the sailing begin ... I should have said that louder ... AS SOON AS THE SAILINGS BEGIN! ... and they will).  A few observations:
1).  A few get assigned very far in advance.  These appear to be outliners (and the frequency may come down over time with more data).
2). Just over a month before there is an inflection point where almost half have their assignment set.
3). Almost all have been set 10-19 days before sailing.
4). All have been assigned by the time you board. ?

I think the bottomline is - you're simply not going to "know" without trying.  By consensus,  you can see that many of us would not be willing to take the chance.  If you are ok in doing so then go ahead and book it and hope for the best.  You can always keep checking Royal's website to see if you are able to make a booking for 5 at a price you are happy with.  Keep in mind most ships are sailing at full capacity so not much chance you will be able to switch cabins closer to your sailing date.

Colombia20102018 reacted to Big d in Which terminal in Copenhagen?
If you get of metro,go to end street there is a bus stop this side of street.
The bus number is 164 on front Oceankaj about every 20 --30 minutes.
We got a train from main station to Hellerup St and got 164 from there ,bus right outside station entrance.
On last day there was a courtesy bus from ship to metro but it did not start till
8am, We were of ship at 7.30am so we're to early so we just got 164 to metro.
If I recall there is another bus route goes to a different station, all buses very quiet

    Routes
You can catch the metro to the nearest metro station however you have then got a walk to the cruiseship.
We took a taxi from hotel next to Central station to the port, it was about 280dkk. Taxis are metered, no uber in Copenhagen.

    Hello Wayno,
It is awesome that you are on Odyssey right. I bet you are having a great time. I will be on Odyssey in ten days. Would you mind sharing some details with me? I am traveling with little kids and any info helps.
    1. How long was the check in process?
    2. Did you have any issues reserving complimentary slots for activities such as North Star?
    3. I heard last week there was only one show running. Are all the shows back? Showgirl, the book, the defectors? How long were the lines before the show starts and how long was the wait? Are those shows good for kids?
    4. Attire. Are they very strict with the attire at the MDR nowadays?
    5. Any other recommendations, tips?
    Thanks

Though it seems that the consensus is to grab a drink and food first, and that is what we will likely do, there is so much that needs to be done on the first day lol.
We have 2 kids and will have to attend the Adventure Ocean Open House/Registration at 2 different times.  We need to make all of our dining resos.  We need to book shows. There are at least 2 free gift giveaways at 2 separate times.
