Having just gotten up the courage, after much support from my teenaged daughters, to actually be brave enough to show my cancer scars in a bathing suit on my upcoming cruise, I'm just crossing my fingers that I don't show up as a "cringe-worthy" line item on this lovely list. 

Definitely airplane mode.  I get an internet package if I know I will want to keep in touch through social media/email.  Otherwise family/friends know that I am unreachable by phone.

We use Allianz when going on a big trip abroad but may use Royal's coverage for the Caribbean, it varies.  We will look into an annual premium from Allianz for next year.

I don't like the wording "Not accepted for travel" , but cruising???

We use Geo Blue Travel insurance. It requires you have medical insurance but they do not vary the price based on the type you have.

I purchase the arcade every cruise. The purchase is made in cruise planner under my teens name, she knows it's a 50.00 limit and it's tethered to her sea pass card. She keeps track and asserts there is a clear way in the arcade to see your balance. Now. IF she goes over the charges are there on her seapass card, I keep an eye for this also. 
We pay 40.00 she gets 50.00 of play and if she goes over it's usually 2.00 to 5.00. She is 15 and enjoys the independence of it. Our last sailing she was with a friend so we did the 80.00/100.00 play package. 
She struggled to spend the credits on the Odyssey she didn't like that arcade.  We always purchase before we sail.
OMG I asked her how she finds out her balance. " I GO TO THE CASINO!" Oh brother I had no idea. Now I'm going to look into this arcade credit promotion above!🤦‍♀️

It covers all the people in your party. We now purchase a third party insurance policy for our trips that is less expensive, covers the entire family and covers a lot more of the costs.

Yes, I was also wondering how I can travel on excursions with canned water. It seems you would need to drink the whole thing in one go. I actually cancelled my water package and ended up getting the refreshment package instead once I found out that the water was in cans!

While I always try to be the best person I can be for the crew, I still have to think to myself that I paid a lot of money for the cruise and I'm going to have the best time and service I can possibly have.  But, I do go overboard trying not to be the "ugly American".  Okay, I can't help one of those things.  But, unless you are asking for the impossible, I'd go ahead and ask for it.  If they can't, they'll let you know.

My experience is that they, the crew, will bend over backwards for you, if it's possible, they'll do it as long as it's legal and non-fattening (well forget the non-fattening part).  I just hope that extra effort by the very accommodating crew gets extra compensation for their efforts.

Was a shock for my wife she thought it was just a trip to Paris! When we flew back to London she was waiting for flight to Aberdeen to appear on the board and it wasnt until we got to check in that she found out we were heading to Singapore, was the same at Singapore and Manila, her head was all over the place in a good way as she hadnt a clue what was happening.

My 2015 Anniversary trip was Aberdeen to Paris via London for 2 days then Paris to Singapore via London for another 2 days, from singapore to Manila for 2 days then down to Mactan for 5 days back to Singapore for 1 day back to london to get a flight to paris for 4 hrs to head back to london then back to Aberdeen, booked everything myself with the help of an Excel spreadsheet lol

I only use travel agent for complicatwd air travel. Such as get from A to B with the maximum airline regards points. Or multiple individual booking where they should fit together.
For relative simple A to B Iand then C to A I would book it directly on the airline website.

If you use a site like skyscanner use the multicity function.

Airlines don't pay commission for air only, so most travel agents that do flights only will charge you a fee. Could be worth it for you if you're not familiar with the area.

Depends on the amount of tie you are outdoors, and how much off your body is exposed.  Generally for the average size person and you are covering the majority of your body you would need 2 ounces.  Then if you are in the water or after a few hours of being in the sun you really should reapply.  For me i am 6'2" average build and 2 oz covers me fine for arms and legs.  Would need more if i was laying out in the sun.  Also, I am from the north so I am not used to being out in the full on hot sun either, so I have to reapply often if i am out all day touring.
I take a least 2 bottles with me for a week and usually 1 bottle for face and head.  It really does depend on each individual.

Log into your RC account online.  You should see your cruise listed.  Find the "View More Details" in blue and click on that.  You should see "eDocs".  Click on that and the tags are on the page 19 of that 20 page doc, I think.
