we used Go-Port the last time we were on Harmony (pre-COVID) the bus was easy and the terminal not crazy at all. We were in a line a lot of the time, but it moved along really well. 

This is good news.  We are getting dropped off with GoPort so getting there and dropping our luggage should be easy.

If you look through the live blogs, I’m sure there will be someone who has boarded Harmony at PC and will have shared photos. Your daughter might like to look at these to have an idea of the process. If you can’t find any, shoot me a message and I’ll take some when we go in April.

I remember Chris Wong saying Cup of Noodles were a welcomed treat.  I have never given anything except money.  We always prepay our gratuities but always give extra to our room steward and wait staff.  I think this time we will purchase some (at a port of call) chocolates or etc as an addition to the money.

When I am given the wristband I just pull the nylon all the way through the black plastic piece like I'm tightening it all the way and it slips off. Then I thread the ends through the cord lock and it makes it adjustable for easy on/off.  

I put mine on loose enough so I can slip it off at night or when showering. When I wear it, I roll the end several times so that it's comfortably snug up my wrist...and the tails are flush and out of the way.

Yes, you can. You're welcome. Most of what we purchased was for her, but we also grabbed a few things for ourselves as well to have in our room. 
Yes, chips are good as well. Now that you say that, we also got a few individual bags of chips as well. 

Now that they can get off the ship, I will no longer bring toiletries and personal care items for my waiter, the assistant, and my cabin attendant.  I plan to get a bag of miniature chocolate bars, cup noodles, and Cheetos (often requested), maybe Cheez-its too.  Oh and socks!

The Royal Caribbean terminal where Harmony will be at Port Canaveral is very large. Even with a lot of people it will not be overwhelming. 

Only lines you'll experience will be those for your own ship.
These are large terminal buildings that are dedicated for each ship in port that day.

Passports issued to anyone under 16 are valid for 5 years. 
Passports issued to 16 and over are valid for 10 years.
Passport do not expire automatically at age 16.  If she needed a new passport, it was because the 5 year timer was running out.

I like the idea of using our Yeti cups so that it will stay cold longer than the ones we get in the drink package.  Now we just have to wait 152 days for Harmony and 185 days for Jewel.....not that i am counting or anything 😋

Although not a single parent, I have cruised solo many times with my now 12 year daughter since was she was about 4 due to my husbands extensive travel schedule. The two of you alone are going to make wonderful memories together…. If she likes music, I suggest sitting in schooner listening to the piano player and having a cocktail while she enjoys a smoothie or Shirley temple…. It’s where my daughter gained her obsession with jazz music at a young age… I found that taking a portable DVD player with some Disney movies in tow helped to keep her attention at the MDR and we could watch together and still enjoy our meal. If she enjoys dressing up, maybe a stop at the salon before formal night for a cute updo would please her and make for great pictures of you two….Also, check the cruise compasses on this blog and see if there could be any theme nights on your ship… my daughter and I bring along some 70s outfits or clothes for white parties and it gets them excited…..  Any time you want to sit and relax somewhere on the ship, it may help for her to bring along a coloring book and some colored pencils to keep her occupied while you sit and …. enjoy every moment, it’s a great age…. Will keep thinking of tips. 😀

I wasn't a big fan of CATS either; however, my Grandson (18 at the time) loved it.  I do think it has been around long enough that it's time for a change; however, I think COVID has made the time table of a new show on the back burner (which is understandable).

I never received an email but my TA told me he got it.  He and his wife were on the same cruise as us (we were vacationing together) so that may have been why.  He was able to apply it to our other cruise.  This was the first time I have every gotten a FCC so I really don't have any other experience to know.

Too bad, the smoke is coming back.  I was in the casinos when the smoking ban was in place.  As an asthma sufferer, I was very happy about it.

Yes I have gotten water in the suite lounge but the bourbon was better :).

My wife renewed hers did everything at home filled out the paper work mailed it priority and she got her new passport back in 10 days. That was through the Philadelphia office.
