Think I might try this. As non-drinkers, on our last cruise we didn't manage to use up all our D vouchers, so are going to have to try harder this time round!

This should be #1 for everyone (including getting an NA drink for those who don't drink alcohol)

I’ve done Johnny Rockets (express) to go many times on the Anthem. No problem…they just bagged my meal like any other take out service. I was planning to take out a Nachos order from Playmakers onboard the Wonder yesterday, but temptation won and I sat at a table and ate the whole thing….by myself….freakin’ DELICIOUS!

The good news, regardless of how you feel about this particular thing:  We are quickly returning to to pre-pandemic norms.  Yeah-whoop whoop-yeah!

I thought I would have a huge problem with this but when I ended up on another cruise line that had self service it wasn't really that big of a deal after the first day. Just made sure to wash and/or sanitize my hands again after filling my plate. Of course it was at greatly reduced capacity but I feel that as long as one takes care of their own personal hygeine you should be ok.

I rented a day bed at south beach so hopefully it will be worth it. Plus the sun wears me out so that day bed will come in handy.

I just got the "Update to protocols" email (which always scares me when I see it) that confirms masks are optional in the terminals

Biggest takeaway is that once again, the judge ruled that the CDC exceeded its authority just as it did with the conditional sail order.  These types of rulings make it harder for the CDC to implement future restrictions on cruising.

The "union" was. The actual flight attendants and pilots want it gone. Corporate wants it gone.

Members  2 Posted Saturday at 02:53 PM Boarded Odyssey this morning at Port Everglades- all four of my family used the iHealth proctored test. Showed the negative result image file provided by iHealth and had no issues getting on board. They didn’t scan the QR code or anything, just looked at our phone screenshots.
Hope this helps everybody considering using this test as we weren’t 100% sure if it would be accepted.

Don't pay for the Kits, get them free from the Government.  Chances are they will be the ihealth kind which can be done online.  It does cost about $20.00 to do the online proctored part of the test.  But, if there is a change to the pre-cruise requirement before you cruise, your not out a dime.  If you haven't got one yet, you will be eligible to get up to 8 of them.

BTW - your screen shot doesn't show ship or sail date.  That could be a cruise in 2023.
Suggest you try on a computer and screen shot pricing that includes dates and details like sail date, taxes and fees, etc.
You'll need details to fight this fight.

@mrcrab2022 Definitely good advice above from Matt. On a November sailing we had 4 different $2 charges from the Solarium Bar. One problem - we did not use the Solarium Bar (and 2 charges were made at times that we were not even on the ship). Mistakes do happen, whether incorrect charges or failures to provide a refund (the latter happened on Symphony last week). Thankfully this was a relatively cheap lesson for you, but it makes sense to check the account on the cabin TV mid through the cruise and then early and later on the last day to check the accuracy (it is FAR easier to deal with mistakes onboard at guest services than through “customer service” later).

Maybe that is the hold-up. Royal could be looking at a redesign of the band or alternative forms.

The WOW bands are nothing else but a RFID chip enclosed (just like a Disney Magic Band) on a very cheap rubber band.
If the vendor is out of business it shouldn't' be so difficult to find another one who could supply the demand and perhaps change the cheap and ugly design of the old ones.

You will be fine in slacks and a nice shirt.  Some people will dress truly formally and some will not.

On a non-formal night in the MDR, I'll wear khaki shorts, a nice polo, and boat shoes. Nobody has spontaneously combusted due to me wearing shorts and I'm certain that will be the case in the future.
On my last cruise on Odyssey I even saw people in... sweatshirts (gasp! 😁).
In all seriousness, it's your vacation and wear what you feel comfortable as long as it's not a swimsuit, tank top, etc. which is against the rules posted earlier.

Totally agree with you on this one, Pooch!  Should some people dress a little better...yes, but will it change how good the food tastes, or how good your server is?  Nope, so just go in there how you choose to dress and enjoy the experience that you have by not basing it on someone's attire.  Where can I get one of those cards, Pooch??

Absolute nonsense. I’m on vacation, I’ll wear what I wish. I’d never, ever, feel it was appropriate to tell somebody else how they should dress, and if you don’t like me wearing a tshirt & shorts then that says more about you than it does me

IMHO, what needs to stop is worrying about what someone else is wearing.   The guy in board shorts 2 tables away has ZERO impact on my dining experience.  Don’t like what another diner is wearing? Don’t look at them!  Concentrate on your group and your food.  BTW I am a card carrying member of Judgers Anonymous and this is part of my 12 step program 😁
