I’m seeing a lot of mixed reports about the food anyway, apparently isn’t great. I love, like LOVE seafood and I’ve booked it for Lunch rather than dinner on our UDP as have read so much average feedback Playmakers on the other hand - really hope that becomes a standard addition to all ships

Absolute nonsense. I’m on vacation, I’ll wear what I wish. I’d never, ever, feel it was appropriate to tell somebody else how they should dress, and if you don’t like me wearing a tshirt & shorts then that says more about you than it does me

Thanks for the info the room was more important to us than the perks, so royal up definitely worthwhile and worked well i was hoping that since access to the perks is a one for one swap, and not costing RCL any money, that they’d be possibly OK with switching the credentials/access from my son to my wife even if just keeping them in the same room based on what I’ve read it seems the CL and CK staff seldom check everybody’s access anyway, as long as I have mine she should be able to walk in with me and the staff will just assume we are in the suite together

Symphony of the Seas is disappointing

I suspect Wonder starting has taken away from the “pool” of crew - they’re no doubt training additional staff to replace those who transferred to Wonder, plus of course the extra staff needed for the additional patronage either way, there isn’t a business who hasn’t been impacted, cruise lines are no different, we need to provide grace and patience I’ve found also with Hotels & Hospitality in general you catch way more bees with Honey -
I’d be very confident if I were you - on our sailing group majority of those who bidded were successful - particularly those coming from higher tier cabins bidding into premium cabins I didn’t even realise but our kids cabin was upgraded too - from an oceanview window to balcony boardwalk - $40 per person

Took exactly 7 days each time I’ve done it, they seem to refund the same day and takes my credit card company the full 7

So scenario is: Our (very mature) 14 year old and his 9 year old sister are in their own cabin on Symphony in a few weeks, when booking as nobody over 18 was in that cabin, we’ve done the usual scenario with my wife in one cabin and me in another, with one kid in each - plan was to then get an extra key made on board and my wife and I have our balcony cabin and the kids in their own interior a few doors down. We have been lucky enough to be accepted for a CLS - but obviously now the suite benefits are on my room key as well as my sons, but my wife has missed out as she’s (on paper) in the kids room. Will guest services be OK to switch passengers/cabins on their system once we board? Or otherwise, remove the perks from my sons and add them to my wife’s? im assuming that places like Coastal Kitchen & the Concierge Lounge will check that everybody is entitled to access and therefore she will need the right credentials?
