For some of these prices on suites you could charter a private yacht or private jet to Europe for a vacation. They’re getting dangerously close to jumping the  shark with what’s a reasonable fare. 

We sat next to a K teacher from Jacksonville at comedy last night. She said she had 28 kids at one point and just “got down” to 25. No assistant teacher, just her. 🤯 

Pass. All those Ultimate Townhouse, Ultimate Family suites give me recess vibes big time! I don't go on vacation to feel like I am at a pre-school or kindergarten classroom lol

I think we saw 80-100K at one point. My FIL wouldn’t go for it though. Not sure if it was the money or sharing one suite with the fam though. 🤣

Which one of you ballers booked ultimate family townhouse on Star for 180k? Per suite concierge, that’s what it’s going for.  I took a pass this time 😜

I sail from Bayonne virtually all of the time.  I always arrive a little past 10 to make sure the garage is open for incoming guests. So I’m usually at the door to the terminal before 10:30. So far, there has never been anyone checking boarding passes. I go right in and get on one of the security lines.
The only time I had my boarding pass checked was right after the restart when they would announce the times over a bull horn and then allow us in. But that quickly went away…at least in the morning. I heard as it became more crowded during the afternoon, they would check for arrival times.
Since then, I always made sure I was up when check in opened to get the earliest time…even though I’m Pinn. I also thought that ‘one hour before or after’ referred to the arrival time. I worry that the one time I don’t get the early arrival time…That’s when they’re going to check!
**By the way…I was up last night at midnight and checked in for my May 5th cruise on the Liberty from Bayonne. It allowed me to do everything but choose a time. There was a message saying ‘check back closer to the cruise date to choose an arrival time.’ That’s new.

Hey waaaytooo, been on 7 cruises out of Bayonne and have never been asked for ck in time. Usually get 11:00 in case I get delayed on my 4+ hour drive to port but with no delays I'm there by 10:30. So far, no problem checking in then.

I always have trouble checking in with the app…so much so that I have ceased even trying.  I just go straight to the website now.
@Pattycruise you do know that now that you’re Pinnacle you don’t need to worry about a check-in time, right ?  I used to stress but now I just wait until I can easily get to the website and whatever check-in time I get is entirely moot.  It’s one of the best perks of being .Pinnacle.

I used to always take my picture on the app during check in but had to retake when boarding all the time. Now I don’t bother anymore and it only takes seconds to do at boarding.

If that's the 12th of April, Coco Cay already has Icon and Mariner, so you definitely wouldn't be going there. 😕

We sail OY on 3/24 and got our email last night, after the April sailings were notified. When I saw the change I felt like Charlie Brown at Halloween..Instead of getting a rock we got Nassau😫. They re-arranged our DR port stop as well .
Oh well, will treat Nassau like a Sea day. No updates provided in the CP for Nassau excursions or the swapping of sea day to port day. CP availability will be closing soon. I feel bad for Guest services on embarkation day😵‍💫

My April 14th Oasis cruise is replacing Labadee with a sea day.  I am jealous of folks who get a replacement port!

Backtracking… One comic was on our Allure cruise in October but fortunately we liked him (both times). 2nd comic, not so much. More often than not we seem to enjoy one out of the two for whatever reason.

St. Thomas today but we don’t dock til like 12:30 so we’re staying on the ship, chilling in the Solarium, playing some trivia, & I need to catch up on my lack of ELF so far. 🌮 CocoCay on day 2 and then stuffing myself at Mason Jar yesterday kinda took up the food intake. I’ll make up for it on the back half other than being on a long excursion tomorrow in St. Martin.

You know I don’t blame you. I won’t even drive to south Florida.
So far Utopia is the only other ship that will have Mason Jar.

Thanks for the pics.  I’m loving the Mason Jar.  Never been on Wonder.  Hoping at some point she makes it to Jersey.  Not in the mood for flying beyond my Icon sailing so I’m not sure if and when I will sail her.  Is there any other ships with the Mason Jar or just Wonder?

Lol. It wasn’t a huge deal. There wasn’t a scene that reached your level of shenanigans or anything… they just needed to be told 2-3 times before accepting that there was a difference between Sky & Star.

This week has kicked my butt, I just now caught up with all of this. So glad that you guys had perfect weather at PDCC! I love all the food pics too. 😃

What balconies are missing..the little elevator lobby ones?  And yeah, we loved Oasis so much last year, would love to check out a newer version, lol. Plus she sails from NJ all next summer and that's likely when we'll be able to go again after this little run of cruises we got going.

I believe the contract we enter into with Royal has a statement regarding the possibility of changes occurring during the cruise and that we agree and understand this can happen.  Not sure there would be a reason to file a claim and for what?

I’ll be holding my breath until they release the new stop for my mid-May Symphony cruise!  It’s the first cruise out of Bayonne and we booked specifically because there was NO Nassau stop and Labadee and CocoCay were the only 2 ports besides the typical Port Canaveral stop!  My point…I DO NOT want Nassau!!!
Hoping Royal will add an additional island stop somewhere in the itinerary. 🤞🏻
