Pattycruise reacted to wordell1 in time conflicts of dining & entertainment
Let your waiter know that you are trying to make the show. They can move things along if requested.

@Matt it feels so long ago since the old reprice rules. Can you explain what they are?

Pattycruise reacted to Sharla in My birth certificate has my maiden name and my DL has my married name
A passport will be hard to come by now, but definitely that's the way to go for the next cruise.
I would bring anything official that proves your name is now what it is.

Pattycruise reacted to Hsimbeck in My birth certificate has my maiden name and my DL has my married name
I use my birth certificate and then my marriage certificate, which matches my drivers license. As long as they can all be tied together with your driver's license and back to your maiden name, you will be fine.

Pattycruise got a reaction from Levi is good in Cancellation Call: Religious Exemption Offered
I do not think there are any delineations towards unvaxxed kids (wristbands, necklace) nor do I think unvaxxed are currently relegated to certain areas of the ship.
When they did have people wearing wristbands it was the vaccinated, and that was because they had vax only venues, so you needed to show proof.
Royal has done away with the vax only venues and therefore the wristbands.
The only protocol I see an unvaxxed adult having to follow would be the additional test on boarding day and the test the last full day of sailing. I still don't understand why either is necessary as we all know those who are vaxxed and even double boostered are still getting/spreading this. I would think there is sufficient data to determine that the unvaxxed kids are not leaving the ship with Covid (or if they are it's not at any of a higher rate than the general vaxxed numbers). If anyone knows whee to find data on this I would love to read it.
Thank you for sharing your info for the unvaxxed.....I will be bringing this up to my daughter who has a friend who cannot vax for medical reasons. Sadly it would appear you have to go through the process of making deposits, submitting a letter and crossing fingers that the person can go and then if they cannot undo the entire process-which we all know is a pain.

A celebratory drink/food. When cabins open a refreshing snooze so I can hit the night raring to go after what is typically a sleepless night and early wake up.

Pattycruise reacted to wordell1 in What can a nearly 12 year old do?
She should plan to be at the meet and greet that typically happens on the 1st night at 7 or 8pm. This is often where kids will form groups. There will be plenty of kids in her age range.

My husbands favorite bartender was on rising tide. He sat there for a ride or two every night.

Some ports may be a tad less safe than others. Post the ports and you might get better feedback.

They won't even ask why you want them, nor would I offer if they did ask. Family members frequently go to each others rooms for items they forgot.

Pattycruise got a reaction from Spang1974 in Kids and C&A numbers
I imagine they had someone write a simple computer code.....IF A (parent status) then B (kids status until kid is 18) and the code also tracks the kids points.

@wordell1 and @Pattycruise - the C&A status conferred to my children is consistent with what you said

Not all ships have USB ability and there’s limited outlet. Consider packing a multi usb plug in base if multiple people need to charge phones or other USB item. Bring a portable battery pack.

I've been on a few FB groups where the complainers feel free to carry on.....thankfully the upbeat, look for the silver lining crowd tends to come out in droves for every negative Nellie (no offense to anyone named Nellie!) there are positive Patty's (lol)

Pattycruise got a reaction from vmartin12 in First time cruiser - questions and advice
The drink package includes top shelf liquor I recommend you ask for it.
I can have Patron tequila Grey Goose Vodja
If it did not include a fancy wine it’s an up charge. The crew was good about saying so, and I believe it came to roughly $2 USD for the glass.

Pattycruise got a reaction from vmartin12 in Musical Sea Pass Cards... I have questions about
You get extra seapass cards at Guest Services someone from the cabin must be present to make the request. Bring a sharpie to label it, if you think you’ll get them mixed up. On Oasis it was a blank key, in the past it had the name and said “extra key”.

Pattycruise got a reaction from KristiZ in When does cruise planner open up for booking?
Oasis is a “book entertainment on board” now. I believe most ships are like this. When you board complete the muster drill and visit to muster station to scan in and then grab a celebratory drink and sit somewhere and do your reservations. It’s all done in the app once you connect to the free guest WiFi, that is specifically for the app.
