  1. Also sailing Mariner on 8/21. I hope you love her as much as I do. The solarium is very different, no roof! Haven’t been on Anthem but have done Odyssey. Tried to enjoy the solarium one afternoon in Roatan and it was waaaaay too cold in there for me
  2. I booked 6 on Grandeur in May. Probably helped that there were just about 700 passengers
  3. You can order it as a single. You can also order 6 wings vs 12 All tips on how to budget stomach space when you have the UDP and PM is a afternoon snack before dinner at 150 CP
  4. The most terrible, horrible, overcrowded cruise experience hasn’t returned. The mass exodus from muster drills on Vision, Radiance, Voyager & Freedom class ships.I would always hang outside for a good 30 minutes and let the crowds disperse
  5. On Oasis a friend and I both had the UDP. I wanted PM, he wanted JR. It was that period in between lunch and dinner, so slow. We sat at PM and the JR employee came over to take his order. We both had burgers and onion rings and both left happy.
  6. Nothing for Brilliance on a full ship charter yet. The ship may have a large group and sold out. I’ve been on board with some large groups and they didn’t negatively effect our cruise https://www.cruisetimetables.com/full-cruise-ship-charters.html
  7. I thought Central Park balcony is the lowest classification of balcony on Oasis class; middle boardwalk and highest ocean view
  8. Chatted with a friend who works at a Canadian airport hotel. The amount of money they spent last month giving guests replacement toothbrushes, deodorant, etc went up 900%. Makes me happy I can drive to all my cruises
  9. January 2020 I booked onboard for January 2022 in a grand suite. The extra OBC is nice. So, January 2023 you should be able to book January 2025
  10. I had a friend surprise me by coming aboard and it was the best thing ever. We met on a ship and have taken several cruises together.
  11. I guest 2 devices is the more economical route. That is unless you are Diamond or D+ (depending on the length of your cruise)
  12. We brought doughnuts on board in Bar Harbor, had the box inside a bag. Saw others just carrying the box and they were told to pitch them.
  13. Another suite perk that you might like is getting MDR room service. On a port day it’s nice to relax in the room and have dinner delivered
  14. I haven’t played in a long time, but you can catch a few on the ship during a sea day. The spawns were very slow, like 2-3 a minute. Good lunck and hope you get a shiny
  15. @DellaStar I’m also on that sailing Here is the DBP with tax and grats
  16. I read The Jetsetters because it’s about a women who won a cruise. Haven’t been on Symphony, but my favorite spot to read on Allure/Oasis/Harmony is either the balcony, solarium, or suite sun deck
  17. Being served in the Windjammer. I still saw people walking in and not washing or using hand sanitizer
  18. My husband got his long awaited Bronco last month. He was so excited. That thing is huge. I hadn’t seen one in person till he brought it home. From January to March I have 58 nights scheduled, 73 if you tack on April. Then I’m done till September to December with 78 nights. I consider this training for the world cruise
  19. If you have the DBP, just have a bunch of mimosas. That will keep hunger away for hours
  20. I’m booked. For me it allows me to see so much of the world without the hassle of flying and changing hotels. We’ve done 2 land tours (Alaska and Ireland) and moving your personal stuff can be exhausting. Plus waiting for everyone to get on the bus. This cruise also took away the struggle of selecting an itinerary. I want to do Med and Baltic, but there are variations in itineraries. I picked the “I want it all” cruise
  21. Thanks @Travelerfor the info! Cozumel is the only port on this list that I’ve visited before and we’ve never made the trip. I’m really glad Manchu Picchu is covered. Had no idea it was that far away.
  22. I’ve done 3 B2b, with one more planned. Twice we left the ship (used it like a port day in San Juan) and once stayed on the ship. Had a nice lunch in the dinning room at noon that was over when rooms opened up. If you don’t change rooms, your cabin attendant will greatly appreciate it if you tell them to skip your room that day.
  23. We are booked on this for our January cruise. My daughter and I are big National Park geeks so this is a chance to visit another park unit. Do you stop at a visitor center to stamp the NP passport book?
  24. We did a land tour of Ireland this summer. Didn’t visit Northern Ireland so I have no input on Belfast. The Cliffs were quite the site. If you can, try to see them from the sea too. We did a day trip to the closest Aran Island then cruised by the Cliffs by sea before seeing them by land. Enjoy your time in Ireland! Beautiful country and the happiest cows I’ve ever seen
