Because of the lack of freestyle machines I am now considering paying by the drink. If I pay for each soda is there any way to get it in a can? So much easier to transport to the cabin. I am ok with glass at meal time but we like to have soda in the cabin too.

We are going on the Liberty in a couple of weeks also. The three of us have purchased the soda package. Are we allowed to bring our own thermal cups and have them filled in the restaurants or bars? With the freestyle my hubby would go and fill them up everynight around 10pm for the cabin. I can;t imagine they would want him to take three glasses to go.

Thanks for the info. I have been looking for answers to this question with no success. We are in the same situation. Going in May. As we all know the cabins are not that big and to have the couch open all day is a pain. This is good to know.

Couple of questions: if we hav 3 in a cabin and chose morning service, will the stateroom attendant set up the bed at night? Not sure how this works now. Also how can you tell by the deck plans if the third bed is a pullout couch or one that pulls down from the ceiling? Thanks in advance.

Has anybody ever done the Rainforest Excursion in Puerto Rico? I am signed up for it but I am having second thoughts. I have issues with both knees and I am wondering just how much walking there is and what are the conditions of the ground like. I am good for about an hour of walking but wondering if this is too much for me. Thanks in advance.

All though we don't participate, we enjoy Quest. I noticed since Covid it looks like it is not done anymore. Anyone ever hear anything about it? I wonder if it is gone for good...

If you just want the ships app to communicate with each other do you need to have internet? I have no desire to purchase internet on the ship. The 1.99 per day seems like a much better option to me.

I have been in both types of cabins, balcony and inside. Of course, the balcony cabin is much better. However, I truly don't mind the inside cabins either if need be. We are not in them a whole lot. It was just this one incident that was not good. On Oasis I will be in a balcony. There will be three of us so it will be nice to have the extra room. We don't use the pools and rarely use the loungers. But I do have to admit, it is frustrating when you just want to relax in one for 15-30 minutes and there is none to be had.

We too were on the 6/14-6/18 sailing. Since 2016 this is our 7th Royal cruise. I found the ship disappointing also. We booked very last minute and only were able to get an interior cabin. I was ok with this, I have stayed in interior cabins and they were ok. I have never seen a cabin this small. The bed was blocked by a bureau on one side and the sofa on the other. So we had to shimmy down to get out and go on our knees to get in. Plus the mattress was rock hard. Mind you we are in our mid 60's with normal aches and pains. We had the room steward separate the beds on day 2. The food in the MDR was average at best. Our best meal by far was the Taste of Royal. Amazing. We also did Chops for lunch and that was good as well as Giovanni's for dinner and that was very good. It took over 1 hour to get on the ship. We were there at our designated time but no one ever checked on this. I did not use the parking lot so no input on that. We are going on Oasis in a month. I am pretty sure we will have better luck on that ship.

We have been on many cruises, but this is the first time we will be using the sofa bed. Are they really comfortable? We are going on a 9 night and I don't want to anyone to be miserable because of lack of a good night sleep. I know this is crazy but I was thinking of picking up a inexpensive foam topper or a blow up mattress. Any suggestions?

Does anyone have any recommendations of a tour to see the Rainforest that leaves midafternoon? We arrive at 2:30pm and was hoping to find something around 4pm for 4-5hours. It seems to me with all the cruise ships that arrive in the afternoon that there would be options for this. My son really wants to see the Rainforest and now is talking about renting a car and driving himself there. How far is it from Old San Juan? Would this be doable in 4-5 hours if this is what he decides to do? Thanks in advance.

I heard along time ago that you could purchases a book of 10 coupons for beer/wine/cocktails. Does anyone know anything about this? We are not drinkers, except on cruises and then maybe one or two day. This would be something we would be interested in. Thanks in advance
