I’m about to get one after my horrific casino experience on Enchantment. I’m hoping for GS to Royal Loft Suite but most likely it will be GS to crown loft suite. Either way, I’m satisfied with the resolution and will continue to gamble in the casino on Allure.

Children and spouses get the same status as the highest C&A member in the family.
A Crown & Anchor Society member can be added into a relationship with other family members in the same household and receive equivalent tier status; however Cruise Points will remain according to actual cruises taken and calculated using the Program level accrual system described above.  Pinnacle Club member tier status will not be awarded to dependents if earned by their parent and/or guardian.  Pinnacle Club member tier status can only be earned by an individual, spouse or significant other by one of them accumulating 700 Cruise Points or more in the CAS program.
 

One final footnote: I think I mentioned that I was traveling with my son and his girlfriend. Since we all work in a school system, the norovirus is part of our work environment. We were not scared and we took every precaution we could. My son’s girlfriend woke up throwing up this morning. It looks like norovirus but it is really stretching that 48 hour window.

First, I want to know who gets 92 texts?? LOL!   We depart in 12 days.  Hubby, "Suppose I win $10,000 in the casino and you're at the pool, how do I get in touch with you", Me, "I only purchased one Voom", hubby, "Can't we text?, Me," NO"..... So do I need to purchase a second voom and then will texts work? On Lady G, older ship so not sure anything will work and then odds of Hubby winning $10K in the casino are zero to none.

The first time was in Jan 2015.  Royal called my cell phone about 5 days before the sail date to ask if we wanted to move from our current cabin on Oasis (Boardwalk balcony) to an ocean view balcony.  It was our first cruise as D+.  We took the no-cost upgrade.  The second time we had an ocean view on Grandeur (about a year ago) and when we got to the port and started checking in, we found that we had been upgraded to a JS.  On the second one, we had no idea we had been upgraded until we got to the check-in counter. In the first case I cannot remember whether we had booked directly with Royal or whether we had used our TA but I know for sure that with the last one, on Grandeur, we had used Michelle with MEI.
We have never been called and offered an upsell.  We have only had “free” upgrades.

Joe, I am right there with ya.  I joined CC MANY years ago and used the absolutely WORST username RFerrington.  What a ditz !  ...now I'm stuck with it.  By the time I joined this site I knew better. Oh well....I don't post that much to that other site anyway.  I'm mostly a lurker there b/c I really dislike so much of the negative and snarky posting that they get over there.  Thank goodness we're more civil over here !!

Yes!  Definitely call for $95.  No there is no danger from calling to take advantage of a price drop no matter how many times.

I would start with MEI, who is a sponsor of this site. You can fill out the form on the home page. There are quite a few of us who use them and have been happy with their service.
There are TAs who offer additional OBC, paid gratuities, etc.  I've recently tried one like this but I feel like the service I've received has been lacking...one thing I asked hasn't been done and my email ignored. So I'm back with MEI and my TA is very responsive and checks my price vs the current sale automatically.

We sailed the week after Hurricane Harvey gave us 53 inches of rain.  Water came up our driveway (we live a few hundred yard from Clear Creek) but not in the house thank God.  RRC didn't notify us the we could even cancel (no idea what they would offer us) until a few day before the cruise.  We didn't have any damage so we went.  They said the ship was about half full.
The center of the street is holding about 3 feet of water.

I guess this is one of the pluses of being in a new ship.

WOW.  I haven't seen a display like that in years.  SOOOO nice to see.  I am so disappointed that Royal rarely has those beautiful and elaborate displays anymore.  Long gone (for the most part) are the days of ice sculptures and sculptured fruit.  I do realize that this often results in waste but it's really so traditional with cruising.  Glad to see that the art isn't completely gone.
