Could there be a change coming for the definition of Sea Class?

The points run on a calendar, April 1 to March 31. Points earned during that time apply to status for the next year. Club Royale explained it to me that status or awards earned during that time would be sent to you after April 1. You can call them and they can tell you what your points total and what your award potential are. I don't know if it is this way on all ships, but on the Symphony in October 2019 the dealers were updating the points at the tables. It may be more accurate that way.

I have been told "no" also except for the one occasion in feb 2019. We weren't aware that it existed until the concierge told us about it. The stand where there were checking in had a "suites" sign on it also. Perhaps it was a temporary program due to construction at the time, or a test as they considered a suites only area on Cococay.

I was there in Feb 2019 and there was a suites area. There were cabanas (not sure if they were exclusive), there was a dedicated buffet and bar and beach area. To gain access, you needed to check in with the concierge at the entrance and receive a wrist band. It was our first time there, but I believe it was in the area that is now Chill Island.

That happened to us last cruise. Bags made it to PHL from MIA, we received the message that our bags were loaded on our connection. We arrived in Ithaca, along with a message that our bags didn't ?. The only consolation was that it was much better than on the way to the ship. I hope they are able to resolve this quickly for you

Same here ... I've been hearing that line all day. As a consequence, it now becomes mandatory to play that on our way to our next Oasis sailing in 57 days ??

I have not booked connecting rooms, but from reading discussions on this board, it seems that booking as connecting is at a premium. Advice I have seen reccomends booking the two specific rooms independently for a savings. This may not apply to current bookings, just some advice from the past.

It may have been valid briefly, I saw it yesterday and the best price at that point was inside GTY for $333. The sale must have been popular!

The way they explained it to me was in order to receive a royalup offer you need to have opted in to communications and offers in your account profile. They don't always send royalup offers for every sailing. If you check for royalup within 30 days, the option will be in place if it is being offered even if you had not opted in. A final observation, the timing varies. I have received the royalup email was early as 78 days before and late as 58.

I wonder if something made their original cabin unusable? And this was their solution.

Since you booked all three cabins, could there been some confusion on the part of RCI, and they thought they were upgrading you? Was that the first reservation numerically?

I have found that air2sea is a good value price wise and potential benefits should there be a glitch. They have guaranteeds in place to get you to the ship. While my experience is limited, the times I have used it, they had the best price. Additionally, if the price changes, you can reprice up until final payment .. and you pay with final payment not at booking.

The terms indicate that the bid is binding and if you are successful, your card will be charged, and the transaction is final. There is no accommodation for reversing the upgrade based on the new room location.

The bid is per person for the entire trip. The bid applies for the first 2 people on the reservation, but everyone on the reservation is upgraded to the new cabin if the bid is successful. For example, if you select a $100 bid in the upgrade tool, your bid total for that room will be $200.

Good News: Prepaid gratuities are paid ahead of the cruise, usually, with final payment. At booking, they are listed on the invoice at the current rate, but are not due until later.

While there are some overlaps in the JS and Key benefits, there are some that are exclusive to each. The JS does provide priority boarding and CK dinner, but the VOOM service, embarkation day lunch and priority show seating does not extend to JS. For VOOM, reserved show seating, CK lunches, Concierge services, etc you would need to RoyalUp to a Grand Suite or above.

Our favorite is the Marriott Biscayne Bay. It is on the waterfront, you can see the ships from the hotel and depending on your sailing date, the price may be what you are looking for. They also offer a pre-cruise package that includes 2 cocktails, buffet breakfast and transportation to the port (Uber, they pay) for a quoted rate about $345.

We take an approach where "post cruise" is not a recognized state of affairs. There are only two states: pre-cruise and cruise ... when the cruise is over we move directly back to pre-cruise mode! ???

I would still prefer they cause the $18 drink package again! ???

I have found that once you book a package it no longer appears on the summary screens when you open the planner. You need to look specifically for that package on the site.

Occassionally, I have seen a price mismatch between pages on the RCI site when a new promotion is being enabled. Perhaps the lower price is a sale just starting ... or this is the 2020 version of the $18 drink package ?

I have seen this in the past. Try reloading the ssailing by selecting another reservation and then return to this one, or log out and back in. This has worked for me.

You can redeem the RCL credit card points to add onboard credit for your upcoming sailing. Then you can book the drink package online using the OBC at the more favorable pre-cruise rate. Note that some of the best prices I have seen recently are in effect currently for the drink package.
