My Royal visa OBC in September was refundable, but I ended up spending it rather than cashing it out at the casino (you can take a charge to your seapass).

Refundable or non-refundable I do my best to spend it a'll.?

@MicroBeta OBC from rewards cards are refundable, especially if your talking about the BOA card.

I saw it on cruise critic.. Where exactly on facebook did you see she is leaving today? This is good news I am just curious where I can find it.

Purchases of beverage packages or drinks using a beverage package: No charge of taxes incurred while in home port.
Purchases of drinks while in home port: Taxes will be charged.

actually I live in ft. Lauderdale.. They changed the tax in broward county to 7% back in January.. Is it possible the receipt you saw was for someone who Didn't have a drink package and was just buying a drink? If so that's the reason for the Tax... The OP was referring to if you have a drink package.. If not then I don't know why they charged tax.. 

I suggest you take it to social media.  I think you should complain on Twitter and Royal's Facebook page.  If it was a computer glitch than you are not the only one it affected.  If you can find others and you all complain on social media you may get them to honor it.  It worked for the Deluxe Drink package glitch in July.  People bought the drink package for $18 knowing it was a mistake and when Royal said they would have to cancel it and rebook people took to social media and complained. Royal caved and now people have the deal of a life time. 
BTW, according to the clause you quoted Royal was supposed to cancel your booking.   If they won't honor the original price then you should at the very least get your entire deposit back without penalty based on the clause they are using to change the price because you didn't approve the booking.  Good luck.  

Me too.  I'm dying to see how the wifi and app work.  We have the Key for our May 2020 sailing so I'm hopin' we can have all the latest tech bells and whistles.

Smokers seem to adjust. They tend to start off kicking and screaming but they adjust. When states all over the country started making smoking inside illegal. Smokers cried it would drastically hurt the bar & restaurant business but it didn’t. When cruise lines banned smoking first in cabins, then balconies and most indoor areas. The smokers still cruised. If they ban smoking in casino the smokers will adjust and still gamble. Only about 15% of the US population smokes any more. Non smoking casinos are coming just a matter of when! 

You absolutely have to be joking, right? At least I hope this isn’t how you really feel!! 

I feel this post may be intended as satire (at least I hope it is). If not, it seems as though you enjoy a lot of the different amenities and dining options available on ships. the reason for the 30 minute chair rule is so that other guests may enjoy the pool areas while you are off enjoying the other amenities.

Enjoy your time at Guest Services arguing about you un-returned towel charges.  No, you do not get to wander off for lunch and expect to keep your chair when tons of people would like one.  What part of that confuses you?

That response about people looking for chairs being "unreal" says it all. I'm looking for a chair and can't find one near the pool and others are out to lunch and actually  think that they  can block someone else from enjoying the pool while they  go to lunch at chops. I"m speechless!

Actually, Cookie10*, you are the one who is unreal. You have a total disregard for the RC pool rule of "no reserving deck chairs/loungers" as well as total lack of respect for fellow cruisers. My question for you is, what makes you so special? 

In the end, the only person to whom you need to justify your purchase of anything is you.  If it makes sense to you, then you've made a good decision.

It makes sense to me.  The math works.  It amazes me the number of people who have decided The Key is not worth the money.  I am of the feeling it is worth the money if you value your time and the other things it offers.   We think The Key is worth it and we bought it for $21.99.  I am hoping there is a further sale but if there is not I am fine with what I paid.  I wish the people who have never used The Key because they don't think it is worth it would stop judging those of us that do.  Everyone is different.  What I value is different from what someone else does.  I get it.  However, your opinion on the value is not relevant if you haven't experienced the benefit.

I've received that message before also but later saw that if you were in Cruise Planner and did not hit save cart and log out, even though there was not cart, and tried to go back in to cruise planner it would lock you out for a certain period of time (30-60 minutes, don't remember exact time). That is why I was blocked, because I had just closed internet explorer without saving cart and logging out. The time period was not that long and I was able to log in later that evening, but it was frustrating before I figured it out.

Yeah, we're blocked on some things. That wasn't the issue last night. It was just a Royal Caribbean glitch. Luckily it didn't last too long, as I feared, because it's been one .... ridonkulously....slow....night.
