In the summer of 2021, we’d like to do b2b Greek Isles and Baltic/Russia cruises ....... our son will be 9 1/2 then .......... which cruise line would be better between RCCL and Celebrity?  And why?

With all of the hatin' out there for Cats I can't imagine them making that mistake again.  From what I understand, the only reason it is still on Oasis is b/c of a contract issue or they would have ditched it during the amplification.  WWRY would be great !  PLEASE no more Hairspray either.

On our June 2020 Navigator cruise, which is at Cococay on days 2 & 4 ..... I was able to book a 2 day Waterpark pass for Cococay for $79.99 total per person
That’s the same price they were charging for just Day 1 and they were charging $89.99 for just day 2 if you didn’t do the 2 day pass.  

Yeah I'm on the 9/28 cruise on Symphony, trying to go from a Grand to Crown Loft again. Ship is completely booked solid, maybe someone will cancel again lol

It was mentioned that those plans were extended free of charge. I believe people were asked to pay additional days of the normal daily gratuities though.

We were scheduled for a September 2nd cruise on Navigator that was shortened by hurricane dorian.  RCI went above what would be expected in this situation, and made switching cruises fairly simple.  We are now heading out of Port Canaveral on the 9th. 
I can't imagine the stress the customer service reps have been under and everyone was very kind, patient, and helpful.  The only issue was the amount of time spent on hold, but that was to be expected under the circumstances.  I will absolutely be sailing and recommending RCI in the future.

No, I wonder about that too, but I really cannot imagine people packing everything to get off the ship and then saying they just thought they were going to spend the day in New Orleans (implying they would get back on the ship)  or complaining about no transportation while being "held" on a bus.

I initially booked a spacious balcony that departs in August. I received my Royal up bid request  for a Grand Suite on June 18th.  I submitted it the same day and received an acceptance of my bid the following day ?.  It's a surprise for my son's 16th birthday and my nephew is coming along too, so the extra room will be welcome.

The above linked article from Newsweek says Norwegian left THOUSANDS of passengers stranded in New Orleans from BOTH the NCL Breakaway AND the NCL Sun ....... I’m not sure why the other article only mentions 200

@SpeedNoodles Note to self...don't book NCL...they don't carry enough food to last the duration of the cruise plus a couple extra days or People like to eat on that cruise line and will fight your for food. ? This will be a 10 Round bout for tonights meal..loser gets table scraps..Introducing in this the corner...Skinny Tim for the red corner and bubba Joe for the blue corner. ?

To me it seems like they made the decision that it would be cheaper for them to dump everybody off in the wrong port, than to extend their cruise for free and eventually take them back to where they started.
I only cruised on NCL once in the 90’s but after seeing this ...... and then today also seeing videos of a ship they sent thru a bomb cyclone between the Bahamas and New York after being warned of the winter storm, and stranding a ship full of people in Barcelona they could have taken back to Rome this past July, I’d never sail on them again!

They also told us we'll get 5 nights worth of Crown and Anchor points.  Since I'm in a Junior Suite the normal bonus multipliers apply.
They offered a special on board to stay on for the next sailing which was reduced from 4 nights to 2 nights.  The price for a suite guarantee was $249 total plus gratuity.  For a couple that would be $249 total for both people.  
I booked it on day 2 I think.  On day 3 I looked in the app and saw the new booking.  I was given a Grand Suite.  Ironically the suite I was given is currently occupied by a friend who is also on this sailing.  He departs tomorrow and I get to take over his suite 

Aquaclass is not like Star Class at all.  More like a slightly better balcony cabin with access to the spa and a speciality restaurant (Blu) for meals.
Celebrity classes do not map to Royal directly.  There is no Star Class equivalent with a Genie for example.  Celebrity's Sky Class entry level suite is much better than Junior Suites but not quite a full Grand Suite experience.   Sky Suites on Celebrity have a dedicated suite restaurant on all ships, not just newer ships like with Sky Class and Coastal Kitchen on Royal.  Aqua and Concierge class have no equivalent on Royal.  Completely different approach.
A lot of people come to the conclusion that Diamond matching to Elite in Captain's Club makes for the best bang.
It stops there so climbing higher doesn't net you anything.

I can't decide if you put wine in quotes because you don't consider $10 a bottle to be real wine, or because you're playing some shenanigans with those two bottles. ?
I drink stuff at home regularly that's $8 or $9 a bottle and that I consider more than decent, so I'm kind of hoping it's the latter reason. ?

Looks like the island is in great shape. 

There are some pics of Coco Cay and it's just fine. I saw a bunch of them. It said they don't even have much branches down. Looks like it will open when they said it will. I'll try and find the link. 

as of 9/2 6pm RC says no changes to current itinerary. Sailing at 9pm Wednesday and going to Coco Cay Thursday ?. 
But Port Canaveral is closed and the winds will be worse Wednesday ? … is it me....or is this just whacky ??
