Beautiful pictures! Thanks for sharing and enjoy that awesome room. I agree with Dan (anyone with that name is usually correct) I would never leave that room.
Cheers!

@SpeedNoodles did everyone get a seat assignment yet?

I am currently booked in an Outside Balcony on Oasis January 12, 2020 and submitted a bid for Royal Up.
I was offered the following options:
Spacious Ocean View Balcony minimum $100, no bid
Ultra Spacious View with Large Balcony minimum $160, no bid
Junior Suite minimum bid $200, I bid $255
Grand Suite 1 bedroom minimum bid $500, I bid $600
Grand Suite 2 bedroom minimum bid $650, no bid
Owners Suite minimum bid $800, no bid
All are weak bids and I have no expectation of receiving any upgrade but wanted to share.

Now there is no reason to be smearing my face in the weather....it is cold and rainy here.

Not to hijack this thread, but related question. How far out can you book Air2Sea rates? If I'm booking a 2022 cruise, can I do Air2Sea now despite the fact that air itineraries & costs aren't out yet? I should think not, but with the airfare being such a major chunk of the overall price, I have to take it into consideration when planning future cruises. Being able to secure a price now would certainly help me make some choices moving forward, but I don't see how the logistics of that could possibly work out. Hoping I'm wrong here!
you can't book until schedules released by airlines.

Mine is like that also for 2 of our upcoming cruises ....... I guess they have another intern who doesn’t know math, like the one who gave us the $18 deluxe beverage packages a few months ago LOLOh the good ole days of the $18 drink package. Unfortunately it was before my time....I sound so young

My cruise planner says $25/day but put it in the cart and it is $199. I would think it would be $175 if $25 a day but I don't understand their math so whatever.

I got off the elevator and decided that the least I could do was help guide him all the way to the act of this ship to Windjammer. I asked him if he minded me walking with him to the Windjammer and he took my arm and we trekked all the way across the pool deck. He told me he had paid extra to have a wheelchair and assistance but that someone complained about it? I didn't really quite understand the story and didn't really ask for clarification.
He said he took a 16 day cruise and he's going to Africa in April. Pretty amazing travels he has done.
We got to the Windjammer where I asked the greeter if he minded helping my new friend. The greeter was amazing and he took his arm and started asking him what he was wanting to eat and helped him to the handwashing station. I didn't think to catch his name tag but as soon as my room service is delivered I am popping back over to Windjammer to get his name so I can fill out a WOW comment card for him.
This totally warms my heart! Thank you and enjoy your cruise.

Yes! Be aware there is a storeroom next door and it can get a little clangy at early hours if you are noise sensitive!
Thanks!

mbined with it also being the group cruise I felt like every single moment of that cruise was scheduled for me.
I originally had a CP double balcony room (cabin numbers ending in 229 and 629)
Are all Oasis Class ships like this with the double balconies of those rooms? I'm doing Harmony next year and one of these are available.
Really enjoying your journey so far. Have a great time!

You guys are not ready for the vlogs I am about to post! I've just finished editing my tour of Oasis, and uploading as I type this. And the crew internet on Oasis is super fast, so I should be able to post more frequently.
You are a tease! I looked onYoutube and nothing there yet Glad you are enjoying the ship. Matts pictures and videos are awesome as well.

I mean if a multi-billion dollar company with its billion dollar ship wants to change its entire year around my two days... come on..I'm not that big of a narcissist.
I booked my trip for the only time of year that it was available for me. I don't have the ability to take trips whenever I want. Thought my first cruise as an adult would be fun. Thought that if something like a major hurricane would occur that Royal would have been able to handle it well. Maybe they did for a lot of people but every time I tried to get something handled it was a mess.
I expect lots of people here to defend Royal and that's great, but they have probably lost me for a long time and that makes me sad.
Anything to say on RC not coming through with the FCC? Failing to cancel when I asked them the first two times?
Sorry for your frustrations. I am new to Royal and hope they make this right for you and correct their mistake. Whether you used a TA or not it seems Royal did not come through as they told you they would.
Hope you get this corrected and have a wonderful cruise to win you back.
Thanks for sharing your experience as we can all learn from each other.

I'm on the January 12th Oasis sailing and no entertainment showing up for it either. I have asked this same question and well it seems to be a mystery to all.

Also forgot to mention, they held a Veteran’s Day event on board in the Promenade. They sang the national anthem, and had one of the casts from Grease sing ‘Hallelujah’ with lyrics changed to honor our servicemen and women. The moment of silence was deafening. Both my husband and I are veterans, and found it to be very touching and moving. (Also on board was a 92 yo WWII vet!). Thanks to RCI for taking the time to honor our vets!
Thank you both for your service and kudos to Royal for honoring all veterans!

I am now 62 days from my Oasis of the Seas cruise and entertainment still is not loaded. Is there a rhyme or reason to when it will open? I have seen other ships after my sailing already open.
It seems Cats is soooo popular I don't want to miss it (truly I want to see it).
