Honestly, I've never lost a mask in the last 18 months.  That being said, I always bring plenty so that I'm not wearing a dirty mask after a couple of days.

I always take passports off the ship, though I think one time did we ever need them to get back on the ship.

I just fear the pain in the butt it'd be if something were to happen while in port and I didn't have a passport.

That's good to know.  However, there are places (especially in Mexico - Yucatan Peninsula) where the trip to the embassy is over 6 hours away, so you'd still have to GET there before the paper copy would do any good.

I've never understood what good a copy would do, other than I guess help the consulate issue whatever temporary paperwork you need to go home. You can't fly out of a country with a copy.

LOL.  Too funny.  We wouldn't want you to get into a crowd of other Key members.  Instead, let's get you into the crowd with ALL of the other 6000 passengers !

We were on the Independence 2 weekends ago and we had two  RC mask in our room when we got there.  We were in a GS so not sure if that was suite guests or everyone got one.  We didn't see many of the RC mask around the ship so I don't know it people might have been saving them for souvenirs.  They came in a thin sealed plastic package and I ripped mine open before I realized what it was.
I saw only one time the mask wearing was enforced.  It was at the blackjack table but other than that everyone seemed to be wearing their mask.
Not sure about the coke thingie
We live in Fl so we drive to the port.  Stay at the Hampton Inn close by and left the hotel about 10am for a 1130 ck in time.  We used the parking garage for the first time ever and it was pretty simple.  Dropped off luggage at the parking garage, parked and was in the waiting area 15 minutes later.  On the ship by 1115.

Also make sure the chain of documents (marriage certificate) is a copy from courthouse or county clerks office that will have an official stamp on the document.

Like ChrisK said,  you are the one that's paying for the vacation, not the ones that turn their nose up because you are not dressed to their standard.  Most nights I dress in long pants (jeans) and a button up shirt (mostly to keep the wife happy)  You will see everything from shorts, flip flops and tee shirts to Tuxedos.  Your on vacation,  dress like you want!

‘You’ll see many guys at dinner in nice jeans or dressy shorts and a untucked polo shirt on formal nights.  The same goes for specialty restaurants on those nights.  You’ll probably also see some snooty people stick up heir nose at that, but they’re not paying for your vacation.
On the regular nights, a nicer t-shirt and shorts are fine for teenagers ….. even a lot of younger men dress that way as well on regular nights.

Welcome to perhaps the most hotly debated topic among cruisers.
There are two camps on this: Some people want to feel like they're in the old days of cruising and want dinner to be a special occasion where everyone gets dressed up like they're going to the homecoming dance each night and dinner is truly an elegant event. Other people feel that they're on vacation -- a tropical vacation, no less -- and don't want to have to dress up just to get the dinner they've paid for. Besides, it's really annoying with airlines charging for checked bags these days to have to bring all sorts of separate dressy clothes that need to be packed and cared for more seriously than, say, a t-shirt and shorts.
I'm somewhere in the middle. I don't want to have to bring really nice clothes on my vacation, and I don't want to have to wear a jacket and tie to dinner. However, these are legitimately beautiful dining rooms with wait staff that are dressed up as to create the aura of a nice restaurant. And there are lots of people who do want it to feel upscale. For that reason, I don't think it's respectful to go in a sleeveless t-shirt and basketball shorts. But, for me, I think a nice pair of shorts and a polo shirt is fine. It doesn't offend the people who want to treat it like an upscale dining experience, but it's not uncomfortable or annoying to pack.

Welcome! You'll get many answers. We wear resort casual. My hubby wears a tie to work most days and will not wear one on vacation. He wears polos most nights and a dress shirt on "dress your best" night. My teen boys wore the same, no ties for them on a cruise ever.

In all the three times I have sailed since cruising returned - Allure (Sep), Freedom (Oct) and Odyssey (disembarked today) - my pre-cruise tests were all Walgreens Rapid ID tests.  I’ve encountered no issues whatsoever.

YES, it is just so darn convenient. When I disembark I just want to go, another shuttle with all that entails, no thanks. We like walking to our car, loading in our luggage and heading out. For our family of 3 especially when leaving it was worth every penny.
Yes I do believe that is taxes included.
Oh if you were really cheap you would be sailing Carnival, lol!

@DuaneGIf you prefer a certain cabin category or cabin in general Royal wants you to book, they are in business to make money. They have hired this third party firm to add to their revenue with this program to fill cabins last minute, it is up to us as passengers to just deal with the way it is handled because essentially if you "win" you may be getting your cabin at a price point lower then it could have been purchased, especially when sailing with more then 2 people.
Participating in the program going in one must know you are just a number, that is all. This is our third time bidding and we are 5 days out, all bids still pending. Our two previous sailings our bids were not accepted and we found out the evening before our sailing, 1800hrs and 1900hrs. It's a great program for some lucky passengers and hands down better then the demeaning way DCL conducts theirs in the terminal.
My advice, book the cabin you want and then bid if there is something you would love to try and then forget about it. (Okay, I check my status daily) but go in accepting you will be assigned the cabin you booked and what a happy surprise if your number is called and you "win" the upgrade. Wishing you a positive outcome.

If you are shopping in Cozumel and interested in silver jewelry make sure you bring a small magnet.  The magnet will not stick to real silver.  We got saved from buying  a fake necklace on one of our cruises by having the magnet with us.   Its important that you keep the magnet away from your sea pass card or any of your credit cards.  Good luck

We used to dress up on formal nights every time; however, as we get older, we mostly do more of a business casual.  That being said, it doesn't bother me in the least if someone wants to wear shorts to dinner.  Once everyone is sitting down you can't tell what they are wearing anyway.  It makes it easier on packing leaving the formal stuff at home as I tend to over pack anyway.

I despise getting dressed up. Shorts and a button down shirt for me on formal night. I felt bad for about 5 minutes. To each their own.

We did the CLS on the Oasis and it does have the wow factor.  The stairs get old after a while so we made extra sure we had everything we needed before we left the room so we didn't have the unnecessary stair climb.  I believe the rooms near the elevator are better since it is short walk to CC and suite lounge.  Looking down that long hall to the rooms on the back of the ship made the rooms near the elevator even better.  The huge shower on the Oasis CLS is great!  I'm no spring chicken anymore so I would probably take the OS now.
