Bring silk flowers?

Post COVID the flower purchases on RCCL have gone by the wayside. They will dress up the room with gaudy hanging cardboard disks and supply chocolate covered strawberries and beverages but NO FLOWERS! Just finished a 48th anniversary cruise and no flowers to be had. Before, I had them delivered to the room each cruise and I was a rock star in the wife's eyes (at least for that week).

When are they going to make you the OFFICIAL RCL blog? 🙂
 
Congrats @Matt and keep up the good work!  This blog is the reason I chose to cruise with Royal!

Prior to COVID you could order in room flowers for most US sailing except Alaska.  Also many ships had a flower cart in the promenade.  I have not looked for the cart in some time so I don't know if it is still available on sailings or not.  My gut feeling is flowers have gone the way of Tux rentals.

Just book 3 night Perfect Day and sea day.  No Nassau.

Looking forward to the new ship.  We haven't done a new ship since we sailed on Allure's 100th cruise.  Got free Champaign on boarding and a nice certificate.  We did not know and it was a nice surprise.

Airline miles status disputes can make for good TV. 

I had an ex argue to have my airline status in court.  
I flew a lot for business, I didn't pay for that travel.  
Judge said nope.

You do not get someone else's points.  You get the status based on someone's points and the way they do that is to fake the system by displaying who ever has the higher number of points when you are in a CAS relationship.
The reason this is important is in the scenario where you cruise without her.  
If you have 318 points and she has 320 points, in a CAS relationship you should both appear to have 320.   If you cruise without her on a 5 night cruise solo where you get 10 points for being solo, you would end up with 328 points.  Both of you would then display 328 points.  Since she didn't sail her 320 points doesn't change.  At this point you would have the higher points count so both people in the CAS relationship would display 328 points.  
You would board the ship with what appears to be 320 points but after the points post you would have 328 points.  
Some people would look at this and think they only received 8 points instead of 10 points but they keep track of your 318 points and when they add to that because only you cruised you end up with 318 + 10 = 328.  
If she then cruises without you and earns 6 points her account will still show 328, i.e. it's unchanged.  Behind the scenes they know she boarded with 320 and with 6 new points she would be 326 but since your 328 is greater than 326 both accounts would show 328.  
Your points will always be based solely on your actual earned points and her points will always be based solely on her actual earned points.  What you see when you log in to either account is based on whomever has the higher points count.  

Yes, getting double the value would be better, which is why OP needs an answer. I still wonder if it is in the too good to be true category, so I am eager to hear the final answer from someone who knows.

I think guests need to stop trying to police other guests.   If the crew aren't dealing with it, it must be allowed.  

 
 
 

My bill at the end of my cruises has always almost always been between $0-100 (usually under $50). I pre-purchase most things, and pre-pay my gratuities. The one exception to that was the one time I bought a necklace in one of the jewelry stores. Stupid champagne. 🙂

Wife forgot to pack our youngest shirts.  Left them in a neatly folded pile on her bed.  She franticly searched every suitcase on the ship twice hoping to find the missing shirts.  Finally, with tears in her eyes, my wife asks me what is the child going to wear.  I said go down to the logo shop and buy her a bunch of Royal tees.  Problem solved and disaster averted.  We all had a great cruise.

That is VERY late in the Alaska season. Pros: Cheaper and less crowded. Cons: Colder and sometimes glacier viewing isn’t accessible due to ice. In any case, you will love it. Just make sure to take in the full Alaska experience and do things that are unique to Alaska. You can zip line anywhere, but can you hike on a glacier anywhere…that sort of thing! 

Long time Royal Caribbean fan here.. super proud and excited that my daughter will be performing as part of the next cast joining Wonder of the Seas for the shows Voices, Effectors II and Tap Factory.
We are from Australia and she has recently travelled to FIU in North Miami for rehearsals. Her name is Chloe, so if you see her on there from May-2023 onwards say 'Hi' to her for me! 
Currently planning several trips over there to see her! Can't wait!!!

Hopefully the box design stays the same.

It looks to me like the hologram-like embedded engraving is gone, replaced by a picture on the back and surface etching on the front for the CAS logo and ship name. 
It's a free perk from a free loyalty program.  Right or wrong they had budgeted getting rid of them and had to reverse course so finding a less expensive free version isn't a huge surprise given the financial disaster they are in right now.
I'll withhold judgment until I see them. 
On the other hand with a nearly complete v1 collection it does offer up a new challenge to obtain a collection of the new v2 style.
