Yes, we did this on our first visit in 2018.
Our taxi driver even stopped at McDonalds so my kids had something to eat 😆
I don't recall how much it costs, but it was an option.
Have you looked into renting a Jeep? We did it through Royal and it was a great alternative! https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2022/06/09/serenade-of-the-seas-live-blog-day-4-juneau

That's been taken into consideration. Been a "thing" since last August. Juneau is different animal and there is no problems there.  IT glitch of the day. App issue ...cruise planner still taking my money and making it their money...with a smile.

I'm a nonflower dude, and I was impressed. The bus driver told this story " A 20 something year old storms on to the bus with a complete attitude, yells at me they better serve beer in that stupid garden.  The bus driver replied , yes they do as well as a full wine and liquor licenses. On the bus ride back to the ship the driver asked how many beers did you have to the rude fellow. He reply none that place was cool."
@deep1 no fishing in the koi ponds though! 😉

I actually had prickly pear growing at my houses in New Jersey and in Islamorada in the Florida Keys. We had transplanted some in Jersey that came from dunes near a beach. They thrived I guess 40 years until Hurricane Sandy flooded the area with salty, silty, tainted, river water.

One other thing- if you want a pre-night hotel your travel agent could book you through Delta Vacations or Southwest Vacations- add air and hotel in one.

No, we can only handle flights as part of a cruise or land package. No flights on their own. There are several reasons for this, but one is that they don't pay commission and therefore we would have to charge fees to book the flights (which we aren't allowed to do). It's a liability.

It's about 45 minutes from the cruise terminal to the gardens. I know what you mean about getting dragged around to gardens. Not exactly top 10 things to do in my life but as my wife is an avid gardener I've seen a few in our travels. Butchart Gardens is probably one of the better ones. I think you can burn up a couple hours there fairly easily. Not sure if you're heading there soon but it's fairly early in the season for that garden.

If it was just me I'm super flexible.  Late night to morning flight no problem. Problem is Fiancé has to work that next morning and it would be a scramble landing 6AM and be at her work an hour from the airport at 8:30. The other problem I have is when to seriously "shop" flights? I'm seeing flights say a few weeks to a couple months from now, before our dates for a fraction of what I'm being quoted. Right now, they are showing for two economy round trips near what our cruise cost. 😮

For Seattle (from the eastern time zone) I used Air2Sea last year. I liked it for the following reasons.
    1. I was able to get flight times that worked for us by Air2Sea offering flights on separate airlines without the additional charges that the individual airlines would incur for booking one-way.
    2. Thankfully, I did not need this, but they guarantee to get you to your cruise if flight issues arise by getting you on another flight/flights.
    3. Booking far enough in advance, I was able to add the cost of flights to my cruise reservation and pay it off over time instead of all at once.
    4. While the standard cost for economy flights is more than an economy flight booked directly, the airfare is refundable. (Also, the Air2Sea refundable rates are considerably less than the airlines refundable rates.)

I usually handle travel to and from on my own outside of Air2Sea.  I do always plan to get there a day early regardless of how I get there (driving or flying) to be on the safe side.  I also either book late flights or next day flights for disembarkation.  I do make a point of using the same travel credit card for both the cruise and air travel because I can get refunded by my card if something goes wrong and I miss the ship.

Do it! Last June we afraid to book an 11:30 am flight and  we were at the Airport before the desk for departures even opened for that flight. Also look into Port Valet, they pick up your luggage at the cruise and you see it again when you land in Newark. It's a dependable free service!

30-40 min from cruise port to SeaTac airport.
Assuming you don’t take your time getting off the ship, you should be fine.

It's about 30 mins (depending on traffic of course).  I'm also going to try for an 11:20 flight this year for the same reason of not wanting to wait until the next available flights that evening.  Last year I remember thinking that I would have made it in plenty of time if we weren't on an evening flight and looking to just kill time.
