KenCP got a reaction from need2cruz in Confusion about Wonder's escape room
I was just on the Transatlantic and people were doing this activity.  The pictures did not look like what I have seen as an escape room.
Someone did mention that is is a form of escape game and they are waiting for more props etc. That have not arrived due to supply. Hain and the ship being in Europe for the summer.

Other than the trees, the orchids and rosemary it looks like every plant has been replaced, even the vines on the posts.  None of the plants are the same as in May.

On Wonder now and everything, even Effectors 2 is up and running.  The evolution of the carousel horses are now installed.
    Quest Show is back too!

    You're not wrong about this.
Going on an inaugural sailing is fun because of the pomp and circumstance associated with it, but if you're not okay with everything not being at 100%, then I agree on waiting a bit longer.

Not before time, hope it's successful and if it is Royal adopt this approach
“Team members monitor sun lounge usage and if they observe a seat that contains a towel or personal belongings but appears to be unoccupied, a notification is placed on the chair indicating the current time.”
The notification is usually a piece of tape of a small sticker which is used as a visual sign that the guest is absent.
The policy ends: “If the chair remains unoccupied for 40 minutes, the contents are removed and held for the guest’s safekeeping.”
Guests’ belongings will be removed from the lounger after 40 minutes have passed if the passenger doesn’t return.

Final payment date depends on the length of your cruise.  I have B2B cruises in Dec.  The first one is a 4 night; the second one is 7 nights.  The final payment for the second cruise was due at 90 days while the final payment for the first cruise wasn’t due until 75 days out.  I had to pay final payment on the #2 before I did on #1.

I don't remember them offering something like that for Wonder, so I'd be shocked if they did for Icon. Then again, it *is* a new class, so maybe?

It was just tea, coffee a section of breads and some meat and cheese on your left when you walk in. That what it was in May.  Will be on again October /Nov, if I am up that early with the clocks falling back every day or so I will check again.

I think there are basically 2 "pools" of people who are regular cruisers:
    1.  Those that want to get in for the lowest possible cost
    2.  Those that want the convenience of having everything taken care of for them
Of course, there are subgroups that are combinations of these 2 but for all practical purposes, these are the 2 prevailing high level concepts.
Personally, I think Royal has done a very good job of catering to both groups.
I happen to be in Group #2 so I thoroughly enjoy Star Class and all of its inclusions even if I know, going in, that this is not going to be the most cost-effective option.  It's not about "getting my money's worth" to me.  For me, it's about paying for an experience where I am not worrying about what I need to "add on".  It's all there already.
For those who want the lowest cost, there are options there for them.  They can get a reasonable rate and then add whatever "extras" they want.
Where I think Royal has missed the boat (pun intended) is that they have failed to expand their "all inclusive" option to all of the other ships.  I fully realize that the other ship classes can never accommodate a suites restaurant and that this is one major hurdle but they could certainly adjust their AI product to compensate for that.  Everything else is already in place !

It seems they have gone the way of the car dealerships.  After you get your car serviced they ask that you give them 10's across the board, anything less and they do not get considered for awards for their dealership.

2 Prong are the ones used on the ship.  The 3 prong is a UK plug. If you bring 2 adapters you should have no problem powering everything.

I always prepay Gratuities and in my happy little cruising world I want to believe it is devided fairly to all of the "behind the scenes" service staff as well.  I have had both occasions occur 1. Leaving envelopes in the cabin 2. Go to Guest Services and ask for them.  99% of the time there are good reasons to leave a little extra for them going beyond ordinary service like when I sit in the MDR and the waiter already has a pitcher of Tea pouring my drink before I ask!  I have also tipped the Ice cream cone server for remembering that I like a very LARGE portion on my cone.

The tip envelopes had largely disappeared for the last couple of years of our cruising life...but I am reading that they have made a comeback.  Since we tip on-the-spot and as-we-go, we never used the envelopes unless there was some special person that we missed during the cruise.  Casino management personnel are forbidden to take cash tips on the casino floor...so if you wish to tip a pit boss or the casino manager or pretty much anyone other than a dealer, server or the casino host, you must provide that tip in an envelope and leave it at the GS desk or in a drop box which is sometimes set up for this purpose.  That is the only way they can accept a tip.
We always tip at the end of a specialty dining meal even though a standard gratuity has already been incorporated into the cost of your specialty meal.  Since we tip-on-the-spot, we leave it with the server at the time we receive the service.

It's not if you are either willing to spend money or feel confident taking the train. A cab from Rome to Civi is about 120 Euros and expect 60 to 90 minutes transit time, depending on traffic.
The train is awesome and inexpensive (we spent about 35 Euro each for tickets) and takes about 45 minutes but Termini Station where you catch the train can be chaotic.  That said, once on the train it's a nice ride and exiting at the port is simple (you do have to go under the tracks themselves to exit on the correct side so head to the small elevator) - you can either take a taxi for the few minutes' ride or cross the street and wait for the proper bus (3 Euro each, cash only) to come along.

When you are dining in Giovannis you can always ask your server if you could get it.  Most servers will try and do whatever they can for you. I had asked for a cocktail that was not on the menu and they did get me the drink.  It was on the old menu but not on Wonder of the Seas Giovanni's menu anymore.
