The reason I posted this question was because the day(s) is more important to me than the dates. I would like to see a list of cruises that sail say, "Monday to Saturday" or "Friday to Friday". I wonder why Royal (Carnival, I think) would not even place the day next to the date to help prospective guests with their search. Right now, I always have a calendar open on one of my other devices just so I know what day a date falls on. Am I making sense? (Sorry, English is not my native language)

I didn't have any luck connecting with UDP over ports 53 or 1194 a couple weeks ago using OpenVPN client.
Man, I didn't expect to read something like this in a forum about cruising.

Is there a site which lists cruises by the day of the week they start? I tried Googling "Cruises that leave on Mondays" and the results were not helpful.

It is 7 up/Sprite with a splash of grenadine and a cherry. It makes them feel special because they are ordering a specialty drink.

can I ask what are the rules for spilling drinks and even leaving half empty glasses which happens regularly on all inclusive options surely this must be outlawed in your opinion as well or is ok for me to be tendered as many drinks as I would like to leave them can I ask want is the difference in this case, just because I have paid for the package does this entitle me to waste every drink I order which in theory could cost royal Caribbean a huge amount from wastage
I can't understand why people get this idea that they are entitled to milk "UNLIMITED" privileges to the last drop. Some buffets (on land) now charge for leftovers because customers blatantly waste food. Phone carriers throttle "unlimited" data plans because users stream content and binge watch like crazy. I hope RCCL will not come to the point where they will charge guests for the "waste" that is going on in cruises.

@Jamiel , at the end of the day, this is all about character and integrity. If you want to give alcoholic drinks to your wife from your package even if it is not allowed, that's up to you. If you want to order drinks and deliberately waste them just to get back at RCCL for their "unfair" policies, that's up to you. But what would that say ABOUT YOU?

1) What type of drinks are offered complimentary?

I remember what a teacher of mine said while teaching us the usage of "can" and "may" - "You CAN but you MAY not".
What you plan to do is not allowed with any of the beverage packages. It has some kind of ripple effect. Actions like this causes RCCL to come up with STRICTER policies for the packages. As an example, they now require ALL (adult) guests in a stateroom to get the Ultimate Package regardless of their drinking habits. I'm sure the main cause of this change in policy goes back to guests in the past using their companion's beverage privileges.
There are a lot COMPLIMENTARY beverage options that come with your cruise fare. I hope your daughter will find something from there to her liking.
My two cents.

Buy a round of drinks for someone on your excursion. A round of beers can go a long way!
I was gonna say befriend some people on the excursion so you can ask them to watch your stuff you. But that feels so insincere. LOL

I am mostly a solo cruiser and I enjoy it. But I have a problem when it comes to shore excursions and activities. I don't know where or with whom I can leave my stuff for water activities. I think that goes for ziplining and other similar activities too. I haven't seen a lot of lockers available. I usually have a sack pack with me with my smartphone, portable charger, wallet, and other essential stuff in it. Wouldn't it be super weird if I took one of those waterproof bags with me while swimming, snorkeling, and playing with the dolphins and stingrays? LOL
Any suggestions/ideas? (Please don't tell me to have a plus-one... ha ha)

I don't know if everyone will agree with me on this but my secret to having fun while cruising is going on board with realistic (maybe even low) expectations. My reasoning is that if I expected everything - check-in/embarkation, stateroom, food, entertainment, etc - to be be perfect, then I will only be disappointed. I'm especially very realistic with my expectations when it comes to the service staff. After all, they're human... and humans have limitations and make mistakes. With that in mind I just enjoy everything as much as I can. I did not pay for perfection, I paid for fun.

Anyone know how deep the Aqua Theater pool is?
Must be pretty deep. They dive from great heights during the shows.

I knew it was a shot in the dark but I still tried to change my reservation to be able to join the group cruise. It was a no-go.
Now I'm beating myself up for not signing up (or even lurking) on this blog BEFORE I booked my cruise.

Is it true that there will be a group cruise on the Symphony the week of Thanksgiving? I know I read about it somewhere but I can't remember where.
I'm booked on the Serenade that week but had I known about the group cruise I would have booked on that instead. I'm celebrating my birthday (alone) on Black Friday. It would have been nice to have people from here celebrate with me.
There are good rates for (Boardwalk and Central Park view) balcony rooms showing up for that cruise.

As for the decor, they had a Thanksgiving spread setup on the piano in the atrium a few days before Thanksgiving.
The day after Thanksgiving (commonly called Black Friday in the US), they had already setup the Christmas tree and other holiday decor.
I remember taking pictures of the staff taking down the Thanksgiving decor.
