I watched the Webcam.  Jury out on the design of this ship.  I'm booked on her next January, need to hear feedback on this one! LOL

That's the "Magic Carpet". It will serve as a multi-purpose space for tender boarding, al fresco dining, observation platform, etc.

Just like all "Kona" coffee isn't created equal, neither is Blue Mountain.  Be wary of buying on other islands, read the packages carefully.  Even in Jamaica.

I saw it on Falmouth Jamaica, in the port shops, bought some for my son can not remember the price
San Juan has a different brand, Alto Grande, that is locally grown and sourced, grown in the shade or something, I'm not a coffee, connoisseur, very good though, it was a finer grind, definitely meant for an espresso machine and not an American drip coffee maker.

Yes I have seen it in shops all over the Caribbean but you will pay dearly for it.   You would probably getting it cheaper on line.  On some of the web sites for the Blue mountain if you buy the 5 pounds lots it comes close to the price you would pay in Jamaica.  Be careful about the fake stuff and the blends,  they are not the same as the real deal.

Assuming the forgetful gentleman was from the US, perhaps he didn't care for the Spanish/European style of men's underwear, ie, speedo/banana hammock.

So the couple my parents were traveling with on the Symphony transatlantic had a bit of an issue.  The gentleman left his underwear in a stack at home and forgot to pack it. They checked every venue on the ship and could not locate any boxers or underwear. This guy had to wash them every night of a 12 night voyage! The Symphony has just about everything you can think about EXCEPT underwear. Moral of the story is check and double check your bag before leaving the country on a 12 night cruise.

I just wish she wasn't double the price.  Taking my girls on their first OA class in 4 months.  Then we have Oasis after that.  Would love to take them on Symphony but not at the prices right now.

A boat is something you get into when the ship is going down. The Symphony is a SHIP.

So that means you are going to miss the special charter cruise on Nov 11th?  You know, the adult-only clothing-optional one that advertises special "play areas"?  You have to be really upset to be missing out on that one! 😄
I'm so glad they sterilize the ship top to bottom between every cruise already...

    Hi cruisers!
For those of you who don't know me - I'm Chris from Liverpool, and I work in the duty free shops onboard Independence Of The Seas!
I'll be joining the ship on December 1st to start my new contract, and I'll be on the ship for at least 6 months! That means 5 months in the Caribbean, and 1 month in Europe!
Let me know if any of you guys will be cruising on the ship, and do say hello if you see me in the shops. We should get a photo together!
I plan to post content everyday on my social medias throughout this contract - so make sure to follow my ship life and see everything I get up to, both on and off the ship! I want to give you guys a true insight into what living/working on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship is really like.
My Instagram is 'ChrisWongVlogs' and my Facebook page is also 'ChrisWongVlogs'
Also, ask me any cruise related questions, and I will do my best to find the answers for you when I am onboard.
I can't wait to meet some of you guys!

Even more dangerous then Cap Haitian is Henry’s ultimate run on sentence that miraculously isn’t even a sentence w/o any punctuation. LOL. In all seriousness the place is dangerous. There are still mafia’s that only talk money. If you are accosted by one of the gangs and you don’t have enough money they will kill you without hesitation. The government is not going to intervene. Trust me when I say there is a good reason for the compound as it keeps the good people in and the bad people out.

I for one would be most happy to see rc skip all further stops to Nassau over the years it has changed so much to its present form crime ridden dirty little city with mostly rude desperate con men and women smelly horses and scooter rentals so iffy that only the daredevil should partake in the summer the straw market is so hot that it boggles the mind and heartbreaking to see the babies and young ones living under the booths I find the whole situation that is Nassau depressing and don't want to deal with this on a cruise I  for one don't get off the ship and haven't for years when my daughter hears Nassau is a stop she refuses to get off freeport is a little better but not much there is just nothing to do I for one say to royal find another quiet island in the Bahamas and put all your efforts into the beach and water experience forget the shopping most all the so called souvenirs are made in china and can be purchased in any port anywhere with people who truly appreciate you being there my belief is that the present selection of Bahamian stops is to far gone to save and should be deleted from the itineraries

Since taking my first cruise last month I am now hooked on not only the concept of cruising for vacations but also really now enjoy learning all about cruise ships etc..

Am I the only one this happened to after taking their first cruise? I have the luxury of working close to the Port of Miami. My building faces it.. I also get in really early like at 6:30am.. and the first thing I do is go watch the cruise ships all come into port for the day. I need help! :) Cant wait for next year to get here to finally cruise on the Navigator Of the Seas :)
