  1. Me. I'm late. I'm gonna miss my flight. I'm not gonna board. Fits in with my normal bad dreams of being late. For the record I'm VERY punctual, in fact early for everything.
  2. @Kathleen Many hotels have a hair dryer. Cruises I always bring my own but when I went to Italy last summer I didn't want to risk blowing anything up - I just used my hotel's hair dryer.
  3. I used this. I travel enough to have one and this was great. Also use for cruises. SAUNORCH Universal International Travel Power Adapter W/Smart High Speed 2.4A 4xUSB Wall Charger, European Adapter, Worldwide AC Outlet Plugs Adapters for Europe, UK, US, AU, Asia-Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078M32R41/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_YM6uEbRY2M6AK
  4. I'm 99% sure it's a no with safety reasons being the biggest reasons. The chairs are weighted for when the seas are rough or it's windy. Any carry on chair would be a safety hazard if it blew around and hit anyone.
  5. @AshleyDillo Rockstar. THANK YOU! As I've posted before, I'd love to sit by myself on my balcony and eat my dinner. I don't mind solo dining but the first leg of my next trip is a balcony and I miss having one to eat at and look at the water.
  6. I laugh because from what I gather, you cruise a decent amount and that is still a lot of points needed. Unless I hit some form of a lottery I'll be lucky to make it to diamond. That is awesome that they giving you the points.
  7. Except for the dining glitch which got a bunch of us free specialty dining on Odyssey's first month cruising. ?
  8. Wait, reallllly? I didn't know you could do takeout....so if I go there and order what I want for dinner I can take it back to my room? This could make me very happy. Do you happen to know if Chops does it too?
  9. To let Vegan cruisers know since the vegan lifestyle is a bigger thing than before. I can't speak to orders not coming out it time if you order same night, hopefully someone else can. I think we see things differently, the people I know were pretty happy about it, happy about options. I've found the MDR very open to requests and wanting to please. I was on one where a friend of mine had a health issue that prevented him from eating normally. The MDR went out of their way to find options every night, even offering to blend his spaghetti one night.
  10. Scared, no? Do I think it's the best idea at the moment, still no. February '21, a lot can happen so as long as you have trip insurance that would cover, go for it.
  11. It's anyone who needs any modifications. I used to have gluten issue - I had to pick the night before. My food came out when everyone else's did.
  12. What they said. I've sailed a few solo interior rooms. Benefits? Meh. Nope. I'm fine in a studio room. I don't need a lot pf space. Saying that- my next cruises - (Odyssey b2b) studio balcony and interior (not studio) for the next leg because the price worked for me and I wanted the double points.
  13. At least June. Because mine was up for renewal and I had to find my entire life (it felt like that with all the forms needed) and I got mine then.
  14. If there were no other factors, I guess 2 cruises but I really miss a balcony. Especially being a solo cruiser. I like to read and eat overlooking the water and sometimes it's easier to not have to find a space.
  15. I'm not always a fan of RC's room service but breakfast is good. I haven't had a balcony in a while, I would go to Windjammer and bring it back to the balcony. Loved every second. My next cruise is my first solo balcony and I'm excited to have a meal over looking the water.
  16. Clear yo' cookies. Come back later, you should be okay. My computer hates the RC site. I use my iPad and I'm fine.
  17. If this is true good for him that he can afford that type of tip...but he sounds like the type of person who tips well and expects a lot while he lets everyone know how much he tipped them. Maybe I’m just salty because I don’t like being told what to do by strangers. I want his job. I make a decent living and can’t imagine being able to give others 1k on any trip. My room steward gets an extra tip. Bartenders, depending on level of service may get extra. Anyone after that if they show over and above service - for me it’s the coffee people. They seem to learn my name immediately and what I like so they deserve a few extra. I don’t care what anyone else does except when they take the grats away. I may judge them for this but, who am I? No one. Move on. Next.
  18. I purchased Beach club for the Inaugural Odyssey and the beach bed for the next week's cruise. Hoping for more reviews to see if I did the right thing.
  19. It's very subjective. You do what you think you should do. To me, as long as you pay your gratuities, anything above that is great. I have a lot of issues with the way people speak to one another online and try to stay off most of the groups. There is discussion and disagreement which is fine but once shaming is involved I tend to check out. Also, I've been wrong myself and perceived comments the wrong way - it happened recently and I did nothing about it, only to have the person apologize to me personally in case that I was offended. I read the situation wrong and was glad my temper didn't get the best of me.
