Thats good!!!  I just checked the price for our 14 night cruise and it comes in at AU$27 per day (or US$19.22 per day).  However.... adding an extra AU$700+ dollars to our account is not worth it at the moment.
 

I agree with you @Pippa_OceanTime We are cruising on VotS in November and I was looking forward to seeing what they were going to do.  While its still going to be fun, its just a pity that they arent doing at least _some_ of the upgrades that have happened on others.
I wonder if the fact the ship is now going to spend all of its time for the forseeable future in the Asia Pacific region played a part?! That said... Aussie cruisers are a lot similar to US cruisers, so not having the new bars is definitely a dissapointment.

We had Sebastian a few years ago on Harmony.  He is wonderful.  Very efficient and personable.  I think we brought him a Washington Nationals ball cap and jersey.  He seemed to enjoy the gift but who knows if he was just being nice.
The important thing to remember is that they have very little personal space so whatever you bring, it should be relatively small or compact.

We just found out we have Sebastian as our genie on our upcoming cruise on Harmony - first RCCL Cruise so of course our first Genie!  Has anyone had him as their genie?  Would love both your experience and what you think he might like as a gift - if it’s helpful we are from the Boston area.  We’d love to bring him something for a gift.

I usually establish a relationship with key bartenders early in the cruise by offering a single with my SeaPass card when ordering drinks with DX.  Pool bars for example.  
They get to know you and remember your drink orders.   At busy times this can work in your advantage.  
I was on Navigator in December.  Shortly after the ship went into dry dock and months later I was back on in March.   Bartenders not only remembered my name but also my drink preferences.   The very moment I walked up on boarding they they welcomed me by name with a smile on their face months later.  
A extra tip, a smile and patience when they are slammed goes a long way.
You don't have to tip above the 18% you have already paid.
PS - I still remember his name too - Edgardo, a great bartender.    Then there was Zoltan in the Bamboo Room, then...

Yes indeed refreshing. My favorite for Diamond lounge drink. Warning though !!! Lemon Drop taste so good and you don't feel like drink alcohol drink but it's strong. It can make you drop after 3 drinks. ?

Awesome,  Lemon drop is my wife's favorite drink.

If you go to the Diamond Lounge, they can make some 'better' drinks for you.  I discovered the joy of a simple Lemon Drop there last month on Rhapsody.

Hmmmmm. I thought Radiance was hitting dry dock in 2019. After further research, I'm a confused Baked Alaska.

Also, this just reminds me of Barf from Space Balls.

No re-imagined pool area as well...to go along with the no Lime & no Coconut pool bar. ?

What she is getting-
The Perfect Storm(water slides), Planet Z glow-in-the-dark laser tag in Studio B. Vitality Spa and Fitness Center moved to the back(All new), new areas for Suite and Diamond lounges, 72 new cabins and the app
What she isn't getting-
No Escape Room, No Bamboo Room, No Playmakers, No Lime&Coconut(pool side). No Sky Pad
 
 
Is it because she is in Australia and Asia and out of sight, out of mind?? 
A lot of things left out I think. Aussies love sport! Aussie love a good cocktail.

Live vicariously through all the live blogs. They bring back good memories of your own past cruises even if it's not for the same ship. They also give you ideas for your own planning.
