  1. Past hour
  2. I’ve got 3 cruises that include Roatan with paid non-refundable deposits in place. I’m a pre-1957 that had measles as a child that is presumed immune. The timeline for a negative test would not work for cruising. I’m not overreacting and assume this nonsense will quickly be resolved. I don’t believe in the end Honduras will not sacrifice their cruise tourism revenue. As of today they haven’t implemented the requirement.
  3. I love how posts from years ago keep being revived! BUT since it is... (I wasn't here 5 years ago, so it's still a new post to me!) We don't like to spray it around other people, either, we do it on the balcony or in the bathroom.
  4. We had a super lazy afternoon. After eating in the WJ, we came back to the room. Hubby took a nap on the balcony and I spent time reading. Some point mid afternoon, we headed to the suite lounge for some tea and got some ice cream from Sugar Beach on the promenade. This is included with the Genie package. Lissandra also let us know that movies are included as well. So that is the same as regular SC. Spent the rest of the afternoon reading. It really was a “perfect day at Coco Cay” lol Because we ate lunch early today, we decided to make it an earlier night. Having dinner shortly at Izumi and then going to catch the 7:30pm show in the theatre.
  5. Not sure about all the stuff because I am only elite but the cocktail hour is the same thing. They call it happy hour and it is from 5:00 to 7:00 and it is almost every bar on the ship but they have a limited drink menu. They also have the captain's club elite cocktail hour but sometimes not every night. That is in addition to the happy hour anywhere. In the morning from 8:00 to 10:00 they have the continental breakfast it's usually in the Tuscan grill restaurant and it is small breakfast items and free mimosas, bloody Marys and juices and specialty coffees.
  6. I really hope people won't pay these prices. Totally out of line with private beach club prices.
  7. Today
  8. Required? No. Do they make things easier? Yes.
  9. All well documented here https://www.royalcaribbean.com/plan-a-cruise/travel-documents
  10. Passports are not required for closed loop US based cruises, unless if you have a port that specifically requires one.
  11. Yup. There are 3 areas; party cove, family beach and chill beach. I am not sure what if any activities are included in the various areas but nothing is available to purchase on the cruise planner. I had hoped they may offer sea doos like at PDCC.
  12. So correct me if I’m wrong you have to pay just to get into the club. Unlike Coco Cay there’s plenty of free item plus your drink package works there.
  13. I’m getting conflicting answers. If we are traveling with our children ages 5 and 7, from Miami to The Caribbean and back to Miami, do they need a passport? I read somewhere that it is considered a “closed loop” cruise and passports are not required. Anyone know the rules?
  14. I cruise most of the time on RCL ships and have done Celebrity 4 times. This is the first time since the Loyalty Match set me at Elite Plus. I am looking for items I would use but some are confusing. I have access on the RC Blog to people that know their stuff. Can you help me understand? I understand as soon as I get on the ship I can use 2 bags of laundry (for my pre week in Tokyo). I can press (2 items) and dry clean 1 item. I get 240 minutes internet. The one big thing I am not sure how it works is the free drinks. "Captain’s Club Elite Cocktail Hour 5–7 PM daily" On RCL we get a bottle of wine at the start of the cruise. Is there anything like that with Elite Plus?
  15. We typically do it on the balcony if you have one. If not our go to place is on the pool deck behind/under the stairs that go to the upper deck to avoid hitting any other people. I think as long as you make an effort then nobody will care if you hit them. My wife or I will sometime hold a towel up to block the wind because if it’s too windy not much will make it on to your skin.
  16. Totally agree. I saw on another site that the costs for day passes were $50 cheaper a person. So $199 and $149. Mine are probably higher due to Christmas and it being their first opening date.
  17. You are 100% correct. I hit the flashing icon and seen he wanted to know how to do it. Then I read the entire thread. I called RCL to see what they would have to say and I also wanted to know about booking reservations for my October 2026 cruise. I posted what they told me, and that did not help.
  18. The day pass with unlimited open bar, food, etc., may be worth it if the price drops just a little bit (under/around $200) and you don’t already have the DBP. Otherwise, I’d probably rather stay onboard and enjoy a less crowded ship. We’ll see!
  19. I just called and talked to Royal Caribbean. According to the person I talked to the dining reservations open up at the one year before your cruise. They also said only the Unlimited Dining as the ability to book reservations. When I told her I could do it for 3 night and 5 night she said it must be because of my Crown and Anchor status or the cruises I have booked. All of my cruises are 8 night or more. So we are back to Royal Caribbean does not know how the website works.
  20. You may not have read the whole thread. I already explained this to him & he tried it with no luck. Some others have reported not having the modify link.
  21. Oh I know right!! Totally crazy. Honestly if the hideout cabana at PDCC gets cheaper than the one I just booked I may cancel. FOMO be damned. Lol
