First, God I love trellis and you are correct , no room for a cup. Second, I appreciate your good naturedness. Obviously it all depends how one cruises. Third, Between my Hyperactive nature plus FOMO plus two little crystal meth jacked up sons. I don’t have the luxury of just hanging out in once place for Any amount of time. So a cup clip, while cool for some, is lost on me. Perhaps when we sail sans the crystal meth twins , but even then, im a rover by nature.

Yep, as the sun sloth’s cousin, the shade sloth, it makes sense why we use them so much & he wouldn’t.

Oh well, maybe I’ll do better with actual sushi. Not sure what meal to consider light, lol. Our lunch/dinner pairings were mostly based on what’s open for lunch on certain days, CocoCay lunch, and my wife’s limited palate. I’ll survive.

No show tonight. We’ve seen it before and did not care for it the first time. Packed all our stuff after dinner. Lissandra is going to meet us in our room at 7:45am. Making the trek back to FLL and fingers crossed for a smooth return home.

Dinner was at Chops tonight. It wasn’t the best Chops experience, but also not the worst. Just mid as my 8th graders would call it.

Thank you. I didn’t see a point either. I’m never in once place long enough to benefit from one. And more importantly, a drink sure as hell doesn’t last long enough to use one either. But diff’rent strokes for different folks I suppose.

Grease is one show I have never seen aboard any ship. I hope I'm someday able to see it before it's gone. On the other hand, I seldom think the shipboard renditions of most shows do the original shows any justice. Maybe I should just remember Grease as it was meant to be.

Sandy was not the female lead in the original musical. Rizzo was. But Stockard Channing (who could act circles around ONJ) was not enough of a box office draw so they rewrote the show to give ONJ the bigger part and more songs. But my issue with the show is not its performance. It’s the horrible message it sends. Being pretty and smart and funny is not enough girls, gotta tart yourself up to get your man! You gotta “cream for greased lightening” and justify your promiscuity because “there are worse things I could do”. But it’s all good in the end cuz I gotta stop at the drug store. I got my period!! ALL of this is in the musical. How does it become a staple of community theater & high school music departments?!!!

I loathe Grease. However, I don't understand the correlation of since Grease is being removed, so should Cats. I sat through a matinee of Cats on Oasis and it was a one and done. But plenty of people enjoyed it, the same way plenty of people do/don't enjoy Grease. It seems like if this production is being removed, its because Royal can no longer see value in paying the high fee to put on such a production.

The old waves are so much better. We have booked Symphony for November, Allure for NYE, and Icon for Valentine’s Day. We already have the wave rented 2 times for each sailing but Icon is the ship we are least excited for with one wave and I believe is an inflated one. Thankfully we will also get an hour of Star riding as well on her so we should be good.

You know what? You're absolutely 100% correct! My bad (my MIL is here for the holiday weekend and now sternly correcting me )! Not in England, but in Scotland! She said they had the freshest fish. My MIL had moved with her parents from England to Scotland when she was in her late teens (earlier than I thought). While my wife was growing up, they used to visit her grandparents in Scotland for about a month or so every summer for many years. That's where those memories originated.

We were not charged on Allure this summer. I did request a corkscrew, which was ridiculously hard to use
